How Much Does Food Cost at Cedar Point?

  • I went to Cedar Point to check out the cost of food for full meals inside the park (and at a few locations outside the park). It was enlightening to see how much it costs.
    I also talk a bit about the all season dining plan and some of thtye bars and snacks around the property.
    What do you think? Where is your favorite place to eat at Cedar Point?

      All 6 of our dining plans have already paid for themselves. Thankfully too. I was a bit hesitant to get one for each kid, and thought about them just splitting, or whatever, but all 4 kids have eaten their own weight while we're at CP or KI. When you figure it out, basically every actual meal you're gonna eat is gonna cost you $15. Figure 2 meals a day inside the park, that's $30 per person. Not to memtion the drink plans. $4 for something out of a vending machine, or $5 for a fountain. It's a no brainer if you're a pass holder. What's really nice is that CP has so many freestyle machines. KI only has 2 freestyle locations, and the one by Mystic Timbers I'd kind of spotty.

    Great video! We got the all season meal and drink plans and are working our way through the different places. We actually prefer the souvenir cups because we always have a stroller to attach them to and they hold more so you don’t have to worry about trying to stand in line as often. It definitely makes sense to get the paper cups if you don’t have anywhere to put them though so you don’t have to worry about a locker.
    Hugo’s has been a go to for us so far. Large portions and the pizza has been super tasty. I’m very curious to see how good of a deal we get with the amount of times we eat in the park this season. It’s definitely worth the price!

    Awesome vid as always! Melt is my go to now because of how nice the staff is, the great menu including the grilled cheese filled with Mac and cheese, and of course the diverse beer menu that you can take to walk around the park with, plus AC on a hot day. I see a lot of dad's in there watching TV while the wife takes the kids to go on rides, it's funny.
    Walking tacos are amazing. It's a bag of Doritos, they cut the bag open and add nacho ingredients. A portable nachos if you will.
    Chik-Fil-A and Panda is always busy, to me this is mid. The fries place and pizza place are solid. The fries remind me of Kennywood's almost. I'm all about Melt though. Solid run down

    2023 was there in June. Most food places were closed. Pink’s Johnny Rockets etc… are all gone, so is Subway. It was really hard to actually find a place that was open. The place like Derby Dogs was never open, so a lot of food was advertised, but most never opened. Most of these places are now empty buildings. Walking tacos is bbq and it also never opened. Hugo’s and Coaster’s Diner where about the only places you could eat for the entire front half of the park.

      I think small snacks “for kids” are fine. But no coolers or things like that. You can take a packed lunch out onto the beach though or a lot of people tailgate out at their cars with their coolers (pretty sure I’m right in saying no alcohol allowed in the parking lot though)

      Well...... if we ever do that meet up maybe we could check it out together, I think my oldest daughter is coming with me Monday... I was at Cedar Point all day Thursday and then Friday I spent my day at Kings Island, great time that Beast night ride is amazing the refurbishment to the track definitely has her running a bit smoother...but seriously I don't have a TH-cam channel I don't have a blog or anything like that, I would love to do a meet up just because you've helped me believe it or not, with my anxiety and my PTSD. I've found that coasters and theme parks are like a giant Xanax for me...kind of an escape, with the walking, and talking to new people, it really helps me relax and meditate. I found your channel last year, and watching how often you go to Cedar Point literally inspired me, I thought hey if this guy can do this all the time, then I can do it too....your attitude, your positivity, your light-heartedness, it's infectious, and I just started watching your videos daily, next thing you know I was buying my first season pass, now I am member ACE, I'm a member of The Coaster Crew and I have trips planned all summer to hit parks all over the country, it all started last year at the end of the summer when I found your channel and now I have 75 Coaster credits and counting 💯💯💯

    • @notyournormalg1
      @notyournormalg1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      kinda depends on what you are doing and who you are there for. You might find it much better to buy the all day dining pass for 35 dollars. then you can eat all day for one low price and you can let your whole party eat with it. So, if you and your family want to eat all day, that might be the best option for you.
      If you're going all year, 6 to 7 times might work decently, but it'll only give you two meals each day, so it's harder to feed the whole party on it.
