i worked in a urban county as a equipment operator for 8 years.I had people stop and scream at me for making them wait for 2 min. I recently transitioned to a more rural county in the same position. in the 3 years ive been there I have had more thank yous, been fed soo many times, and had people stop me to say thank you. One guy followed me for 10 min ( I am a road grader operator ) just to give me a Dr pepper for smoothing his road out.
That’s awesome dude! I love small town living, I’m from the suburbs of Toronto and it was the same. Everyone living in their own bubble without a care for anyone else.
Then it gets fixed 😅, I batch test my drops when I get them. It’s a very low chance of any issues. In over 2000 drops ran I’ve had maybe 3 -5 have issues
I see CATV plant your attached to the same strand. So are you working for a CATV company thats in process of migrating everyone off of RF and onto PON?
As someone who runs mainline fiber and coax whoever ran the mainline for the company you are installing for is hot garbage at least from this video. Air gaps all over the place fiber is wrapping the stand. On the first pole you went too the coax was just hanging 2-3ft off the strand not even an expansion loop. Electrical tape was used at every bug nut/lashing clamp and not using spacers oh lord rant over before I write a novel. Keep up the good work.
The provider I work for doesn’t do Coax, but yes the Coax plant is very messy. You should join our discord, we discuss this type of stuff and we have a chat channel just for rants 😅
Man that copper line.. it makes me sick to my stomach when techs put a flip box on the top of the pole like that... like why not run the drop down the pull so people don't have to pull a ladder to troubleshoot...
Farmer was awesome, cool conversation, helped out when needed, and super appreciative! Meet some cool people during your work, what an opportunity.
Yeah he helped a bunch
Awesome vid! Farmer was super cool. Views are amazing along with the baby cow!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great video. Keep them coming
Thanks! Will do!
You don't check for light at Nid? What happens if it was a bad aerial drop?

Wow, I'm glad they finally got service ran after 2 years. That kink in the line looks super sketch hah
They were waiting for 4 years actually 😅
Nice longer video.
I hope the issues your going through gets better man.
Thanks man. Nothing too serious just moving and other annoying life things 😅
do you document that kink in the line and does it affect anything?
Since you saw it I’d say it’s documented 😅 but no I don’t think it affects service somehow. I asked them if they had issues.

Negative. That’s a different provider. The provider I sub for is migrating from ADSL to GPON fibre
@@FyBurz Ah ok were CATV but moving to 25GPON.

Ever seen a midspan splice of 4pr drop using a couple preforms and a yellow klickit?
@@rampagerick Yes, more times than id would of liked to :(
@DdosedRS 😂
You need to take a look at the way your video is you need two edit this video you are doing things several times repeating functions in your video
Like what exactly. This edit was rushed but I’d like to know what you’re seeing me repeat.
