I have the same kind of light. Except on the actual light has a button on it which I think is to switch it on and off regardless of sensor. I also have a remote with mine. I only ordered mine a few days ago and it doesn't seem to work, I have left it in the sun to charge but neither the remote, button or sensor are turning it on, I have no guarantee that it's even charging
i have plans to use the solar lights as lights in the house at night such as one in the kitchen as i walk in it lights up until i leave... same thing for the bathrooms to hopefully knock a penny off the power bill.

Good idea but you need one with long cable or big system to get cable out site to solar panel
