This was actually really nice to see. A reaction video that isn't just someone smirking every 5 minutes but actually expanding on the content being shown as an analysis + compliment to a video to share more knowledge. If you can increase the video volume a bit next time that'd be nice. If you can do "reactions" (more analyses) like this, I'd be glad to see them!
If possible I’d prefer it to encourage me to watch the original. With a bit more effort b4nny could have said practically everything he wanted to say, more concisely considering he’d have more time to sort out his thoughts, without having to play the video in it’s entirety, yes pausing and adding on his own knowledge, but ultimately consuming the entire video in his own.
One of the most underrated elements of scout is flexibility. Too often do scouts limit themselves to their role as flank or pocket scout. Sometimes as a pocket scout you gotta go behind, backcap, push flanks, take 1v1s, and even cap to let your flank scout go forward if hes already in position. And sometimes as flank scout you just gotta take the beam, take the ubers, play with your combo and be the fragging class that you are.
exactly what i wanted and always try to do. too bad so many people are so concrete in their roles like pre gunboats pocket and roamer type shit. often times my flank scout is already in position and/or healthier, so i told him to go forward with the combo when i stay back and cap.
Yeah I think that a lot of ppl (other than scouts) tie themselves down because of their role and avoid being creative. There’s times a risky or unorthodox play will pay off, just make sure you have a reasoning rather than running head in and hope for the best
The 3 W’s applies to almost every game I would think. I didn’t even think of this and prob gonna apply it to other competitive game when communicating with a team. Thanks for making it a big point Arekk and b4nny
It is a golden tier content, would absolutely love to see more I want to play a flank scout mainly, so it’s really useful, thank you both for sharing your knowledge with us
Amazing breakdown by you and Arekk, a lot of the things here you pick up and learn while playing the game and it's nice to have content that goes over things that would take a while to learn. It's important to point out that everything you can learn here, you can apply to any other game to instantly improve and stay above the competition. It's crazy how TF2 a game that hasn't really changed in ages can train you to pretty much dominate in any other pvp game, new and old. TF2 is probably the best game to learn, and practice game-sense.
Watched arekk video a while back and seeing your input helps deepen the video. Maybe next time we could have you and arekk talk about the game together? (Rather than a reaction video like this one)
enjoyed this vid, i think more commentaries like this on scrims and matches would be nice, even after playing the game for almost a decade i learned more again.
Good informative content. I don't know all that much about comp so nice little videos from you and arekk to explain the comms especially in a little more depth. 🙂

@@puntero I mean as soon as arekk left (season 5), froyotech lost season 6 lmao. I guess it’s that arekk isn’t that flashy as a scout. I think it’s kinda similar to blaze that you look at his logs and you’re like “how tf, he went 8 and 18 on soldier with below 200dpm!”. Arekk dm is still good, but I think his main trait is that he really knows how the game works
@@burkshomemadememes exactly, logs don't mean anything tbh, they never have. arekk has a lot of gamesense, that's why his main focal point is being an excellent teammate before anything else. and i don't say this only because b4nny is saying it here, he never demonstrated the opposite on any situation

Need more content like this. Incredibly valuable. Raises the average skill level of the general populous in this game.
Agreed. Keep it coming b4nny.
We need more b4nny tip/analyzing videos like this, it's genuinely a good learning experience
Arekk: i walked forward, then i walked backwards.
B4nny: this is so crusial
there are a lot of basic things even 1000 hours players forget, so it'll almost sound common sense, but its not..

shoutout to arekk. what a legend/beast
love this even though I only play pubs it is very interesting and still makes you improve while playing with friends on casual
Based off this video I’d love to see videos with B4nny and other comp legends talk about strategy and ways for players to improve
11:44 "perfect match" damn, we got b4rekk going on here
i'm a fighting game player but i love this video because it echoes a lot of what i'm learning right now in regards to game theory fundamentals

TF2 HAS TONS OF MECHANICS, DETAILS, GAMEPLAY VARIATIONS ... ETC ... EVEN AFTER MY 3700 HOURS I STILL FIND OUT ABOUT NEW STUFF !!
