God is a refuge to those who trust in Him. In Psalm 71 the psalmist remembers God's faithfulness in his life up to that point but also looks forward with confident hope in the future. The act of remembering God's faithfulness and then telling others of it provides us encouragement for the future as we continue to trust in the Lord.
