    We are thinking about selling our property and relocating to a different city in India, Is it better to first relocate and then do all the tasks like calculating the LTCG, putting the sale proceeds in Capital Gain Account , investing in tax exemption bonds etc OR the other way around?

    Sir if the property was purchased in 2002 and the booking was done by 1 lakh cash and 1.25 lakh check, will it attract penalty vide 271D?
    Also, in 2002 , the total purchase price was 3.20 lakh while Govt. valuation was 4.96 lakh. Now, if owner wants to sale this property, will there any problem due to the price difference?

    Capital gain tax dena padega yeah capital gain tax is zero...no tax to pay

    Sir, if there no circle rate of 2001 and so if I say my valuation is 1cr. But whether I need to check for next few years e.g. 2002-2005 that circle rate is not less than 1 cr? If it's less than 10 lakhs in 2002 is this justifiable that circle rate reduced in 2002 so much drastically?

      Agricultural land was acquired in 1990 but converted in N.A. in FY 2016-2017. Sold in FY 2020-21
      What would be Fair market value? Will it be based on Agricultural land or Non agricultural land as on 01/04/2001 as what is sold is NA.
