  • We are LA & Dean Exploring Grandparents, we are in the Philippines and we would love to share our experience with the Whale Sharks at Oslob Cebu Philippines. We had researched this activity and decided we wanted to experience it. We were very pleasantly surprised at how organized and caring the Philippino people were at the site. You will see us take a tricycle to the centre where we paid our 500 Philipinno pesos each which is about 12.5 CAd or USD 8.75. We paid a little less for the round trip with the tricycle and our driver stayed with us the entire time caring for our stuff. LA was able to see the whale sharks when she entered the water but no camera was there. We were able to ask a worker to film Dean as he swam with the gentle giants of the sea! It was a controlled area so the whale sharks were not overwhelmed.
We will have another video out next week showing you the hotel that booked our time and let us know we only needed to pay at the centre. We researched going here through a tour group and the prices were well over $100 dollars. This is in next week's video.
Please join us by subscribing and checking the notification bell it costs you a lot as your time is precious!

Wow! Being close to the world's largest fish is absolutely incredible! I admit, though, I still get a little nervous that they might accidentally swallow me when I'm near them, even though I know they only eat small shrimp and fish. 😄 Congrats on making it to the Philippines! I hope you all have a fantastic time exploring the beauty of the country.

Thank you so much! It definitely feels like they could eat a human with those huge mouths, yet they behave so gently. We are loving the Philippines ❤️.
