  • Here, we're using a flex sensor as part of a voltage divider circuit.
    A voltage divider outputs a percentage of the incoming voltage. In this case, one resistor is fixed, the other varies. As the sensor bends, its resistance increases, and the measured voltage decreases. When it is straightened, its resistance decreases, and the measured voltage increases.
    This method is used in the Power Glove BLE MIDI project (learn guide coming soon) to read analog values with the Feather Sense board as the fingers are bent.

    SpectraFlex next gen flex sensors were just released by Spectra Symbol... just sayin. Give them a try!

    Is there a chart where I can easily see which LEDs are faster than Neopixels/ws2812b? Preferably not as expensive at dotstar? Or are those my only options?

      I don't know about a chart, but it depends on what you are useing them for. If you want a POV display you are going to need DotStar. If you need faster performance from Neopixels use the FastLED library.
