Actually, outside of the online tech enthusiasts bubble, people do like thinner phones, because it's more comfortable when you hold it and when you put it in your pocket, thinner also means lighter. Average people care about lightness and thinness more than 120hz screens.

Maybe Apple should add higher frequenzy (less strain on your eyes) PWM dimming. Does the refresh rate matter? Yes, if you’ve experienced higher refresh rates daily on a device and try to switch back to a lower refresh rate. Those trying to minimize this really haven’t experienced this for long periods of time. Now it’s up to you whether that is worth the price tag and whether you can deal with this shortcoming if you’re used to high refresh rate screens.

A lot of phones will switch to a 1 hertz refresh rate anyway when the screen isn't moving, and you can always switch your phone to 60 hertz if you don't mind it.
I mean that's why phones that have 120 always give you the option to turn it off to preserve battery. There's really no reason not to include it on any smartphone in 2024. Certainly not anyone that's costing over 400 500 etc.

I just mention features I use or would use.
We need a better rear zoom camera on the iPhones, my 16 pro max still can’t match the Samsung s23/24 ultra for usable long range zoom up to 30x for a great photo

I’m using an iPhone SE in 2024 & hearing the rumours of a thinner 17 model actually made me instantly question the battery life when she brought that up in the intro. Personally, I’m reaching one year of ownership with my SE model and it’s hitting all the things I love about a simpler iPhone, except the satellite SOS feature. I was visiting NE and ended up even getting bumped between 3G and Roaming, then just No Signal. It made me want to upgrade instantly, but that’s my only complaint about the SE. It does everything my old 14 pro could just fine.
What I find funny is that all of Samsung's phone screens have a 120 hertz refresh rates besides for one model's screen which has a 90 hertz refresh rate. 😆 😆 😆 😆 💀

I wish ProRAW wasn't limited to just the Pro iPhones, but then again "Pro" RAW - it was designed to be locked into the Pros to begin with. Also 120 Hz in this day and age and at this price tag is a non-negotiable

A slim phone feels really nice to hold, pick up and use (had a moto Z), but the battery will suffer if they don't use a high density one (which I think they will)

I actually want a 'pro plus' version, thicker, with bigger battery. My 14 Pro is 2 years old and cannot last a whole day anymore. If the battery was bigger, for sure it would sill have a whole day capacity. RAW shooting just eats battery, even a new Pro max phone needs a power bank for shooting or recording. No way they still think about getting a slimmer phone without first creating a bigger battery version. I wouldn't care if it's 100g heavier, just give me more poweeeerrrrrr.

Apple could easily split the difference by adding 90Hz for base iPhones and bumping the pro up to 144Hz
