I'm not an artist but fuck this is a mood. Trying so hard at something and putting your everything into it just to feel like you still aren't good enough. For me especially the universe decided to twist the knife by making me amazing at everything except racing, which is the one thing I want to be good at more than anything else. This is perhaps the most relatable song I've heard in a long time. As artists, regardless of our art form, we never think what we do is good enough. 100K views? not enough. Two art gallery showings? I'm trash. Writing contract with a major company? Everything I write is garbage. But we have to accept that our opinion isn't what matters, it's those that consume our art who decide if it has worth. 😟 Not everything I make is good. Most of what I make is bad, but I never let it out of the lab. I've been frustrated that I haven't made anything as good as Eagle 1 in...forever, and this last week, I've had such little energy that creating anything has been very hard. I'm not sad. More, uh, frustrated that I've gone from having more ideas than I had time to work on to no ideas at all, and this song is the best I could come up with. Not everything I make is good. Most of what I make is bad, but I never let it out of the lab. I've been frustrated that I haven't made anything as good as Eagle 1 in...forever, and this last week, I've had such little energy that creating anything has been very hard. I'm not sad. More, uh, frustrated that I've gone from having more ideas than I had time to work on to no ideas at all, and this song is the best I could come up with. So yes, I'm really happy that this song was made at all, but getting to the point where this is all I could make has been genuinely upsetting.

The worst part is when I have to scrap it all when I realize when I get to the middle of it... its saying the ****ing opposite thing that I'm trying to write! Its a good desire to have, but never become so subsumed in your "need" to release something weekly that you forget that you're an artist, and Human, first. To be Human is to fail. To be Human is to fall... And pick yourself back up and try again.
At the end of the day, this could be nothing more than a flash in the pan, or your ticket to become a recognizable name on TH-cam... And you can't control which happens. And that's okay. Worry about what you can control. The rest'll work itself out, I feel.

So you want honest feedback on what to improve and how to go on.
But if someone says it's good you just don't believe it and that they think it's so shit they resort to lying... so they need to critique... but then you find your own thoughts echoed and you get demotivated more easily.
