This makes me really sad, really. I live in South Africa and you can clearly see difference between the rich and the poor. People will do whatever they can to get money and feed their family. They know it's wrong but it's not easy to find a job. I've been robbed before, twice in fact and once was before Christmas. The robbers told me and my family they won't hurt us but please give them some money so they can at least celebrate Christmas and make it through new year (unpaid leave during Christmas and new year). This scammer is the video is probably the same, willing to sacrifice his own dignity and pride to make money. I sincerely hope this man in the video will eventually find a better paying job that he can do it without shame.
The Gintama6 I lived on a small poor island for a little bit. My home was broken into twice in the middle of the night. They only stole one loaf of bread and a dozen eggs each time. Some thieves are generous. Some are just trying not to starve. It really got me thinking. I wanted to beat whoever robbed me. Eventually I found them, cuz the island was so small and my stuff was shipped from America so it was one of a kind there. After seeing them and their hungry kids I realized how lucky I was. The mom robbed me cuz her kids were hungry and the dad was a useless drunk. She ended up in jail though a year later for stealing a car. Stealing can be addictive I guess. But it really gets you thinking. Some people have no other choice like you say. However it leads to worse things like greed. That's the sad part.
but did they ask if you were starving or if you had kids or if that was the last of your money to buy food again before they broke in your house and stole???

This actually was a little moving. This scammer wasn't arrogant or hostile but totally realized what he's doing is wrong, and I personally understand his choice. Like he said, we have the privilege to live in countries with health care and social security, and unless you have an actual experience what it's like living in a third-world country, you can't really question his life choices and tell him not to do scamming etc. You don't know what it's like.
to gain just enough money to survive and is still fucked in the ass after and can't get the job he deserves even though he probably went to school for more than 10 years.
Big_dro right & wrong are completely subjective ideals. In his mind he is doing the right thing in order to feed his family, people will do way worse for that same exact reason & be the hero of their own story. From the outside looking in, it’s wrong, but it’s the only/best way he knows.
@@big_dro1713 Buddy, your ancestors ripped eachother apart for survival, and from where you're coming from i'll assume that it's objectively wrong in your point of view. Why do you think you're living? That you have a phone, on your bed, with a fan by your side. You do know that you're indirectly stealing from the poor right? And thats wrong. Like the scammer pointed out, it's easy to talk about morality when you have a full belly and a roof over your head. Your reasoning bites yourself in the ass.
He is using a special site called firertc that lets you pick any valid caller ID from the USA and Canada. I think he is pretending like they called him from before.
While I agree that scamming is bad and I'm very against it, you got to admit that life really isn't fair for everyone. We're all in this world just fighting for resources, and money sadly is one of them, even though it's a man-made resource. Scamming isn't the worst way to steal money; there are people who beat up, rape, drug traffic, sex traffic, etc. just to get money. Morally wrong, but it's the only way they can survive. I'm still for stopping scammers because it's morally wrong and people who actually worked for their money deserve to keep it and not get it stolen by people. But I hope someday the world will be a slightly better place and more people can have real jobs that pay decently. I'm not sure how that can happen, but if there's a morally righteous way to make that happen, I'm all for supporting it. Nevertheless, I like this scammer the most. Because he was honest and more respectful than others. I feel like out of all the thieves out there, scammers are among the ones I feel most sorry for. Politicians and big businesses who cunningly "steal" just to get more money can piss off. They already have money. They just want power.
What annoys me is this guy says that his victims deserve it for being stupid to fall for it ... yet a lot of these tech support scam victims are elderly people who grew up in a world where more people were honest and technology was a push mower for the front lawn. They are at a complete loss when the computer their kids/grandkids bought and set up for them so they could keep in touch suddenly goes wrong ... but are often ashamed that they must have done something wrong so they pay money that many of them can't afford to get the non existent problem fixed in order to keep in contact with their family and friends. That is the despicable part of the scams ... they target the vulnerable.
Why praise a thief and a scammer just because he admitted of wrong doing. What about the victims he scammed? He took their hard earned money by scamming. I don't feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his victims...
He is a smart guy. It would be awesome if he could use his intelligence and talents for something positive. Great job getting him to open up. You knew right when to back off. Impressive.
That was bananas! Especially the when he admits that he knows it's wrong and that he believes in karma but has just accepted this will come back to get him some day.... just wow
Most of these "stupid people" are someone's retired grandparents; it has a terrible psychological effect on the elderly who aren't caught up with society. It sucks they were put in that situation but we still have to protect our people, even if it means scam baiting them for hours a day. I hope India grows into the self sustaining superpower it ought to be with over a billion people, and allow them to find peace with themselves.
i did feel a lil sad watching this...i seen a few and they are funny to watch, but dude made a good point tho....i wouldnt know what to do in a 3rd world country but kill people and do crimes....i respect that scammer in a way
@@TheGheezoinky You cant just assume someone is a middle class with good education because they speak good english, there are naturally talented bilingual people. Im sure there are tons of people who have the same mindset as him even without proper education, it's tragic.
Honestly, yes survival of the fittest, their country is garbage and they struggle just to eat and get an education. We waste so much on drugs, alcohol, and other recreational things when so many people suffer. He probably has a family to support. If you're smart enough to have a computer you should be smart enough to know better. He made so many good points.
No, you don't get a free pass for harming people because they are dumber or weaker. That would mean that people who abuse children are justified because the children as not as educated, powerful, or have as many resources. Are you ok with child abuse? Are you ok with people victimizing the elderly in nursing homes? So what if he has a family to support? You don't think he is stealing money from people with bills to pay, maybe living on a fixed income?
Per capita income of India 1670 $ per year. 23.6% of Indian population, or about 276 million people, lived below $1.25 per day on purchasing power parity. It's bad . Still he is defaming india..think of it this way...he is destroying any honest indians chance to be a legit job holder.your country is perceived as that of thieves...if any legit tech support is opening in India these guys ruined it...the moment they say they are from India people will hang up won't they?bad for india.
I get that the situation in some countries are hard. But if you are having problems, you should be able to understand that what you do is wrong and can have a huge impact on people. They are plenty of options out there that are legal and accessible for those people to improve their situations nowadays. Educate yourself and find a fair solution. Using this kind of solution will make tings better only for a time...when you do wrong it always comes back at you in a way or another.
Of all the scammer videos I've watched, this is the one which has stuck with me the most. The guy makes some pretty good points. If I had to choose between scamming stupid people in another country and a life of extreme poverty, I'd probably be a scammer. Doesn't justify what he's doing, but it's really easy to talk about morals with a full belly and a roof over your head.
The amount of selfawareness of that scammer was through the roof. Its actually quite sad. He seems like a smart guy and Im sure if he'd been born and living under different circumstances he could've done great things. Ofcourse what he' s doing with scamming people still disgusts me, but at least he's honest. Respect to him. You can't even say that (honesty and respect) about all those big companies that "steal" your money in more lucrative ways and managers that give nice bonusses to themselves
I have to deal with this every day. I try very hard to do the "right thing" in a country where everyone simply puts themself first. I could very easily run red lights, drive on the wrong side of the road, and do some shady things that "don't hurt anybody" for extra money with no repercussions. But I don't. Yet, it puts me at a disadvantage. Other people in my position are making more money, and occasionally driving the correct way is more dangerous. Truth be told, what's right and what's wrong varies from culture to culture and generally it's something we need to learn. That's not to say people are born bad, but the idea of doing things "fairly" is not natural. Every animal, whether solitary or working in a group, act solely for it's own benefit. We're probably the only animals that will consistently give up an opportunity because it's "not fair". While it's very necessary for the modern life we live to continue and progress the way that it has, ultimately the scammer is doing what practically every other living thing on this planet does; seizing an opportunity to better his life. This comment has nothing to do with judging or praising the scammer. Just an interesting observation I have from a neutral standpoint, while reflecting upon some recent personal events.
Or this in a bar when the indian scammer says he's a doctor: "alright we have had a good time now, but you said you started to feel weird an hour ago(druged by Rohypnol ofc) ? Cuz im a doctor sir, you have nothing to worry about. i want you to open this bag and eat the content, and don't be worried sir, the objects you see is quality checked by our level 5 chemists. You need to eat this protection called Scopolamine(The devils breath) so i can access you remotely and help you with your issues" You go to a ATM and so on but in the end you show him you were only a virtual human who knew all the time, BOOM - owned.
I hate that they scam but if you're in his shoes, you'll understand that they live in shit place where noone helps. Exactly like homeless people, they get ignored. "Get a job" you might say but don't you think he'd do that already? It's like hating that homeless guy you saw become successful (for illegal stuff but still, did anyone want to help him?)
The day I can't afford luxury prostitutes is when I'll start scamming. N'uh nigga if I'm gonna wait till I'm sucking off some dude in a back alley for food...
To be honest, he does have a point in all of this. All the people higher up in corporations leech off of other smaller people and at the end of the day they are the ones getting millions into their back pockets meanwhile their workers at the bottom of the ladder get paid a minimum just so someone does the job for the guys in shiny black shoes. This is exactly what the guys didn't want to do, so he became a scammer. What they're doing is completely wrong, because he believes that we would be better off having everyone steal from anyone rather than pointing out the wrong and helping to fix all of this. Unfortunately what he's saying is the truth and you won't hear it anywhere else, on TV or from big companies. Once you get the money, you go blind. You don't recognise the good from the bad and it all goes down one path. It's sad to see the humanity going this way as I'm sure we won't survive for long in this state.
No life isnt fair, and play it however you want you still Die at the end... The point of life is to try and fit in in a way that is productive for yourself and those around you.
He is so arrogant because He has money in a poor country. Would he like his family to be scammed? Always that same excuse that started .during the English colonies . "Poor us. We have to scam you because you don't know how it is." He thinks everybody can afford health care and is rich. The officials of those counties do have a reputation for dishonesty and it goes right down the feeding chain. No remorse whatsoever that they may be taking the badly needed money their victims have,
Interesting how he admitted his moral dilemma. He says if people are dumb enough to get scammed, then basically don't deserve the money they have. It's pretty easy to disagree. Lewis has a good point on everyone having different mental capabilities. Conversely, if you were huge and muscular, that would in no way justify you to beat people up and steal their money just because they can't defend themselves. He knows he is morally corrupt and acknowledges it. This call almost seemed like a Freudian slip; he probably has never talked about this before and when he finally got the chance, all of his irrational justifications flooded out.Perhaps if he talked about this more, then maybe he would change his ways. He seems very intellectually capable to realize the wrong he is doing and seems smart enough to dig himself out of that hole.
A lot of the stuff the scammer said I kinda respect him for it! And myself, if I was living in India, would probably consider this as a job if it got me more money with zero other opportunities around the area. It's almost like the question, ''If you were rich and had a significant amount of power, would you be a different person than what you are now?'' A lot of the times, the environment creates the people. Like the scammer said, ''..you don't know if haven't lived in a 3rd world country.'.... you gotta do what you gotta do.''
For the older people in the world the technology has gone way above there comprehension. The computer world gives them fear because it is so new. They are as a whole a trusting people who are way to easy to scam.
Sadly it is the 'survival of the fittest' story that breaks my heart - infinite compassion the foundation of so much religion that emanates from India but a pocket of resistance to moral duty formed out of poverty and resentment of others. The truth is there is always a way to make an 'honest' living and this guy has given up on his moral duty just like the politicians he speaks about by way of an excuse. Humans are complicated, but honestly Lewis, you are doing the right thing so don't let it change your attitude to these criminals - clearly it is you who is on a path of compassion understanding the dilemma but this shouldn't change your stance towards introducing these frauds to the rest of the world. Keep up the good work!
Some of them feel they were robbed by being born in a poor country with a very low standard of living. Some of them may think it justifies scamming people in good countries like, US, UK, and Australia.
He has English education. That means his parents spent money educating him in a private school. In India, if you study in public school, you don't pick up good English. Don't fall for his sob story and justification. He's just trying to fool the people watching this. If you are well versed in English, you are pretty much at an advantage in India over others who don't have good command over English.
I think he may be possibly from the northeast. ( India). Yes, He does speak English with a non-MTI accent but it is the ' Tone ' of his voice that really baffles me! Most naga Or other males from the north_eastern states of India tend to speak in a little " Higher /Sharper " Pitch ( voice) , I must say m a bit confused. Btw, I have also worked in the BPO Industry for quite sometime and have undergone various ' Voice and Accent ' trainings that the companies provide ,so my ears are trained to identify accents. Whatever be the case I think this guy is not really a bad person at heart, it may be just that he is undergoing a tough time financially and thus, compelled to do this kind of work. He sounds quite young, I feel that he may most probably be on the lookout for some Honest, Legitimate job. He did admit that its wrong and I believe that his sense of morality and ethics will soon bring him back to the light. Good wishes and prayers for the Guy.
Alright. I've been building pc's, repairing, programming. Have bachelor's in IT, I am about to start doing this myself. We need EVERYONE that knows their way around a PC should do this. If we turn the tables on these POS, so much so that it throws them off about EVERY call, enough to make an impact, I'm all in. I am not good with cameras, don't like them, but would be happy to help with these idiots and shut them down, everything in my friend's house from half the country away I shut down as part of a joke lol. Good luck and love ya man! Keep it up.
He really didn't understand the part about auto-diallers. I think the increasing popularity of crowd-funded auto-diallers will have an enormous impact on the scammers in the long run.
Who is worse, a person stealing $100 from 1 person or a person stealing $1 from 100 people? Well theyre both worse. Stealing is stealing. A sin/wrongdoing is not justified by a circumstance. Is it just for me to steal if I am poor? Is it right for me to kill if I am lied to? But in the end, there is no right or wrong opinion and like what the call center agent said, that was what he thinks about life.
I'm against scammers to 100% but this one actually got some fair points. I would probably do the same if I were in his situation. And I believe most of us would have. Lucky to not live in India.
I kinda agree to some of his points yet i would never steal for a few bucks , but every one has a price and let's be real here , if you have the oppertunity to scam some one of 1 million dollars and never be cought , ngl we are would .

A majority of scammers are from India, tbh. It is plausible that this guy is also in India.
its bcoz indians are generally intelligent enough not to get scammed like this, so the local government doesnt give a damn
Prince Arora easy, language style like an indian.
I know thousand indian when speak english really unique and funny.
This is the mindset of a child and an insult to the honest hard working people in 3rd world countries.*
@@Talking-Monkey I'd like to see you live in a country with politicians that only care for themselves. Seriously though, how dare you?
This guy is quite the philosopher.
Welcome back Lewis!!
Maffs8425 VLogs he caught some big carps in France while he was gone
KoolKoalaGaming hey!
To be honest... I understand his point of view.
How do you understand his point of view? He's scamming innocent people.
to gain just enough money to survive and is still fucked in the ass after and can't get the job he deserves even though he probably went to school for more than 10 years.
Adam "Theres no this is wrong or this is right" sure there is. scamming people is wrong.
I remember watching this from the livestream. It was deep af.
the scammers are in this situation:
scam or find a cave in waterfall and live off fish
It's sad that he measures his life with the same set of standards he uses on dirty politicians.
its very very sad that they do have to resort to doing what they do. they just want to live like other " great" countries
One of the most interesting conversations I've heard in a while.
The idea of objective morality is so crystal clear and this video is a good example of that.
Money don't grow on trees
I got bills to pay
I got mouths to feed
Ain't nothing in this world for free
great song for that Indian Scammer, Ain't no rest for the wicked.
Noice
bigjaw1999 can’t hold back, can’t slow down though I wish I could. Ain’t no rest for the wicked, until we close our eyes for good.
I love cage the elephant lol
You kinda got roasted in this one tbh. Hahah
define ''roast''
UN Originalistic Something that sheep like to say when they can't think of anything else.
Why are the IRS calling someone in the UK ?
He is using a special site called firertc that lets you pick any valid caller ID from the USA and Canada. I think he is pretending like they called him from before.
This is a fascinating and immensely informative video. Yes, never have I heard one of these guys be so honest.
That was interesting , thanks for sharing Lewis !!
Amia's Kids Video , yeah I agree, the guy who is rich, got rich because he worked for it.
@@avinashkhetri9575
Not completely true at all.
He is a smart guy. It would be awesome if he could use his intelligence and talents for something positive. Great job getting him to open up. You knew right when to back off. Impressive.
In the beginning of the call that guy was just making excuses, but by the end, I felt where he was coming from.
As someone from a third world country who came from a lower class. I absolutely felt this guy to the bone.
That was bananas! Especially the when he admits that he knows it's wrong and that he believes in karma but has just accepted this will come back to get him some day.... just wow
Wow i couldn't expect that sincerity
I respect this scammer for his honesty and that he is openly telling what he himself thinks about what he does.
I love your mentality, nice seeing a honest conversation between two people.
Give him respect for not being a fake piece of bullshit.
Don't jail him.
GG70 he is full of bullshit
This guy is probably living like a King.
I would buy this scammer a beer
And, he'd pick your pocket before he left the bar, afterwards.
hahahahahahhaa
Or this in a bar when the indian scammer says he's a doctor:
"alright we have had a good time now, but you said you started to feel weird an hour ago(druged by Rohypnol ofc) ? Cuz im a doctor sir, you have nothing to worry about. i want you to open this bag and eat the content, and don't be worried sir, the objects you see is quality checked by our level 5 chemists. You need to eat this protection called Scopolamine(The devils breath) so i can access you remotely and help you with your issues"
You go to a ATM and so on but in the end you show him you were only a virtual human who knew all the time, BOOM - owned.
Water would be better.
Water would be better.
This is the best scammer I've ever come across... Lewes is speechless here.
Bright fellow with good English. Maybe he should make a TH-cam channel ....make a few bucks.
WoW that scammer hit the jackpot through his points! He even made me speechless.
"i am from a third world country so i must steal to get ahead."
why is this kind of rationale so common?
I dont know why...but im rooting for the villain...damnit
You tend to understand villains the older you get, yeah.
this is the best video of this type I have seen yet.
Everybody is a scammer thus he can scam too! Will he jump off the bridge if we ask him to??
almost got that perfect poem, just put "to" right at the end...
No someone will help him fall off the bridge..
No? But if everyone else did there might be a reason to, of which he might?
No, but you will scam too if the alternative is starving and working in a shitty factory job 16 hours a day.
The day I can't afford luxury prostitutes is when I'll start scamming. N'uh nigga if I'm gonna wait till I'm sucking off some dude in a back alley for food...
Never delete this video!
their country will never improve both upper and bottom level if this is what their mindset. think deeply
No empathy no sympathy for scamming or scamming
I'm holding back tears................. This video is so powerful
Thank you XD
it was impressive when he said he believes in karma so he's ready for what's coming to him.
tbd meh, could have been lip service, hard to tell. ..but wow. Wasnt expeting that turn of events.
No remorse whatsoever that they may be taking the badly needed money their victims have,
Poirot ikr
in america the government will give you health care free and if his family raises him to be this smart than i doubt that they would get scammed
We are no thieves Mr Scammer
What about old people who didn't grow up with computers? they wouldn't know what is and isn't a scam...
The most honest scammer I ever heard tell the truth.
I'd genuinely like to sit down and talk to this guy, I think we could come to an understanding that would make everyone happy.
People who do not work hard they have pathetic excuses and steal from people who work hard.
OUTSTANDING video, thank you, much appreciated bro : )
A lot of the stuff the scammer said I kinda respect him for it! And myself, if I was living in India, would probably consider this as a job if it got me more money with zero other opportunities around the area. It's almost like the question, ''If you were rich and had a significant amount of power, would you be a different person than what you are now?'' A lot of the times, the environment creates the people. Like the scammer said, ''..you don't know if haven't lived in a 3rd world country.'.... you gotta do what you gotta do.''
He doesn't realize he is cursing himself
Man if they switched countries at birth he would be telling the indian guy that his windows have a virus
This man changed the way I look at the world
you mean you haven't realized that by yourself?
For the older people in the world the technology has gone way above there comprehension. The computer world gives them fear because it is so new. They are as a whole a trusting people who are way to easy to scam.
People like this who try to steal your money are the real internet pirates not some random guy who just wants to download a movie for free.
Somebody should hire that scammer he deserves to make a good paycheck to be brutally honest I've never seen that happen
You need to hack their systems and take out their routers.
Diggnuts lol "hack their systems"
????????
Googol Olakka But who said he lived in India?
R.I.P. your point lol
Professionalism Trash he does lives in india! His accent says it so! Duhh
I clicked that notification so fast.
That Fab Madelyn Same😂😂
Keep it up.
wow.. never heard a scammer go into such detail
He really didn't understand the part about auto-diallers. I think the increasing popularity of crowd-funded auto-diallers will have an enormous impact on the scammers in the long run.
I fully support your argument Lewis, you're taking the words right out of our mouths
I don't respect his game, but I respect his honesty.
That's the definition of a lost soul.
I'd say we need to worry more about banks than Indian scammers.
This scammer would be the best of all scammers in India
For the first time I felt sorry for scammer. Nice video
This guy sounds like he has his sob story in order if he ever ends up in court...
This guy is bitter, but intelligent, and has a good sense of perspective
This scammer got his third eye open
after a while I just start picturing Gus Fring from Breaking Bad.
I'm impressed by his English actually
if somebody is doing wrong, it does not mean that you have to do the same thing.. you can be anything. you can do anything. even sky is not the limit.
“You can’t walk straight on the crooked road” craziest mind fuck ever
I'm against scammers to 100% but this one actually got some fair points. I would probably do the same if I were in his situation. And I believe most of us would have. Lucky to not live in India.
I kinda agree to some of his points yet i would never steal for a few bucks , but every one has a price and let's be real here , if you have the oppertunity to scam some one of 1 million dollars and never be cought , ngl we are would .
Then you really don't know how this world works Grayson.
