Goat show love it but heres the thing shop lower everything by like 50 quid and make plenty of other seasons with different twist also make it so if they win they get 5k each person that survived the round

I think the general public cant fathom how much some of them throw the prize money away as particularly the audience age range the contestants are richer than us and dont value money as much and thats why i think we are preferring the people not spending as they seem more relatable and find those wasting money as out of touch. I also think a non influencer one wouldnt work as well as I feel like everyone would spend less maybe 1 or 2 dont

@BrendelMank In the video if you look closely you can tell Liv gets uncomfortable the most. The first episode when Liv walked in he hugged her and kept touching her and she felt uncomfortable and then you can see it progress more and more.
When they were in the shop tho and hugged the girls you can see Liv feel uncomfortable but for some reason Chloe invited him back in after he left and shut the door behind him too, none of them realised Liv felt uncomfortable with the constant touching.
The way he kept asking the girls to sleep with him too and then asked Chloe to shower with him as a "joke" if she got the question wrong

@@Paul_CTID even if you have "shit tons" of money, you're still gonna be aware of the absurdity of the inflated items. and if u have a "shit ton" of money, then ur used to more or less getting everything you want, within means, and thus probably more likely to treat this as a challenge.
It demonstrates how certain contestants think about playing as a team or playing for themselves. Specs spends a lot but is usually pretty open about it but someone like Costillo is sneaky af and never gets called out and plays everyone into thinking he's an honest guy whilst being a complete snake. It's 7 days rather than the average 30 day reality tv period, the tuck shop aspect fuels the drama and speeds up how certain characters will play the game.
i would genuinely starve myself for a week for a mill so the fact food and socialising is free and yet still spend thousands on a pack of sweets is just embarassing

Simon seemed kinda nervous at first tbh but looked more comfortable in the 2nd episode. Idk why but Vik adding lines after counting down in the drop trivia game kinda irked me. Simon at least let the moment breathe there

I know Castillo has spent way more than the others, but he actually adds so much entertainment and he isn’t a “jarring douchebag” like some others, the show needs someone like him. Some of the other girls and Specs do make it a hard watch, can’t lie
I think having normal people (non-influencers) would be interesting as it would be a different dynamic as normal people who actually value money. How far are they willing to go to save money. The inside concept is great but we aren’t seeing it explored because these influencers don’t value money

these are all influencers that are used to full meals, but are only presented with rice and beans. they are limited in what activities they can do during the day. so there is a big pull from the shops.
even with normal everyday people, they would come up with ways to cut into the prize money.
I think you're spot on about it being a new thing, a change for the audience and I'm hooked. Really looking forward to the next ep. tbf it'd be boring if everyone was trying hard to win, drama is good✨

I really enjoy the show. I think that the vast difference in the characters of the people playing creates dissonance and that lets viewers choose their fav/least fav person which creates for a higher watch rate and gets people more invested. It's a super good strategy that was really really well done and well put together.
The 20 - 40 min Side+ Saturdays are some of the best content you guys made recently.
Only watched a bit of the 1st episode, But this video was so chill to eat my lunch to as well - the music just made everything so calm.

I would have loved to have the sideplus extended cut as an unseen bits of each episode instead, as I prefer watching the main episodes on TH-cam and then exclusives on sideplus, I found myself scrubbing through the extended cut episode quite a lot to avoid watching what Ive already seen.

The success of the series is also a lot due to routinisation of the videos. One thing that is really lacking with sidemen is clear routine. Obviously, sidemen Sundays are every Sunday, but there never is a specific time when one could look at the clock and think "oh shit sidemen Sunday is out".

It's excellent so far. With this being the first season it's probably good that the challenges are general.
If there is a second season I think it'd be fantastic if each episode is hosted by 1 sideguy (+ maybe guest*). Day 1: Josh, Day 2: Ethan etc. It would make more of a balance. Everyone gets an episode and hosts their own curated challenges. *Maybe you could have extra guests with people that appear on the channel. Harry hosts with Stephen Tries, Josh with JME for example. Love Stephens work on commentary but it would be great to have like Ian Stirling doing the voice over and Stephen as a physical host.

This actually made me so upset. Josh. The people saying “I don’t want to watch” tweeting stuff like that. Are people who have anger issues and want to start conflict. They love it and crave for people like you to feel bad for something you worked hard for. This is incredible and please keep moving forward. Maybe there’s no fans left that are intelligent enough to realize how this being put on TH-cam is extraordinary. From the days of cinnamon challenges and unicorns named Charlie, the pressure of TH-cam now is insane and I wish people dialed down on content, but you guys are killing it. I love you guys ❤
