Paul is the only Beatle who could do anything! MACCA ❤️❤️❤️ I’m glad you appreciate him like this 72 year old does! Last time I saw him was 2019, Dodgers Stadium, Los Angeles. He was joined by Ringo for Sgt Pepper and Helter Skelter! I cried! Best concert Ever in my life….its on TH-cam and just the part of their reunion to perform those two songs for the first time since recording them is a separate video!
And after being at a McCartney concert ten yrs ago....I can tell you.... the audience does not want it to end. They just keep clapping and whistling and screaming!!! They LOVE him!!!
Paul McCartney is a musical genius and a living legend. Definitely check out more Wings. Jet, Nineteen Hundred Eighty Five, Band on the Run, Silly Love Songs, Live and Let Die, Listen to What the Man Said... Any of their songs honestly.
Watch his performance of Call Me Back Again from the same concert. You might think that is his best performance. But there are so many and it's hard to go past his Beatles performance of Long Tall Sally and I've Got A Feeling from the Beatles rooftop concert. Wings have several heavy songs. Top level vocals and top level bass playing at the same time, he is crazy.
Wings final album,Back to the egg from 1979, had a lot of rockers on it. I agree with you harri regarding Paul's versatility! The man can rock out, sing with just his acoustic guitar, do a r'n'b number, then an orchestral number. He is simply amazing! Wings should be in the rock and roll Hall of fame!
What an awesome experience, this is my number one concert I wish I could have seen in person. Glad they made Rock Show to give us an idea of what it was like.
Have you done nineteen hundred and eighty four off of band on the run? I think you'd like it a lot. Love your vibe and love your channel man, I'm with you, macca is THE MAN!
Hi Harri, I was at the 1976 concert in Seattle. You are spot on, Paul can do anything. You were commenting on his voice, that's why I felt compelled to comment. Soily was one, if not the last, song of a 3 hr show! Just before the show, a reporter was asking him if he wasn't too old to do live shows. He said you come to the show and let me know. I love Mr Macca.
Soily is a wonderful single, which Paul did 7 takes in the Abby Road Studio before releasing it. Soily was fictional character created by Paul, the child of Bruce and Yvonne McMouse who lived under the stage, a hour long movie that was shelved in the end. This is one of the best live version of a song released. Paul's vocals are sublime, along with his great bass, the precise guitars of Denny and Jimmy and Joe's drumming, so powerful. Having seen Paul live with Wings, I felt like I was vibrating for days. 😂 Their shows are life altering and leave you wanting for nothing. ❤ Joyous reaction Harri. Thanks Scott for this great live song. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada. ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦
People forget that Paul wrote ""Helter Skelter." This is in the same vein, and it totally rocks! Wings was a great live band, and the 1976 tour was their peak. Great reaction Harri!
Harri, I was at that show! 1976 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Great seats. I was almost 16 years old. I remember those light effects! Harri, hear Junior's Farm or Helen Wheels for a couple of Wings rockers (also they were huge radio hits). But this one rocks much more!
@@kierstenridgway4634 Cool! Me and a buddy stood in line from I think 7 in the morning. General admission. We we young and rookies. Could have had front row, but we didn't know the drill. Still though, front row on bleachers very close to the front. Pyrotechnic bombs went off on stage during Live and Let Die. Also, it was Jimmy Mc's birthday. The crowd sang hb to him!
That was the last of three encores on that tour. It was amazing and I remember not even knowing the song at the time and was still blown away. Pretty cheeky to end a concert on a song most of his fans didn’t know. It hadn’t been released on album before this time.
To me that whole concert is Paul at his very best. not to mention seen him as a rocker. You know with the Beatles they were great but they didn't really move around it was a little different error in the beginning. But this is in rocker mode and I love it.
For me, the single best McCartney song performed live was Mull of Kintyre performed at NIB stadium in Perth, Australia in 2017. It raises the hair on your arms and sends chills of goosebumps down your spine. Absolutely brilliant.
I was there (the old Capital Centre in Landover, MD... although not sure where this was filmed), and I totally remember this song. It was the final encore of the show. Great memories.
Thanks Mary, you always have the best comments regarding artists and music. Thanks Harri for the enjoyable reactions to the music. Janet from Louisiana ☮🖤🤘🇺🇸
That was amazing. But you should watch some of the very early Beatles stuff (like in Hamburg). He has the soul of a blues man, even if he could make some of the “Pop-est” songs ever.
i love Soily so much but cant decide which version I like the best. This version is awesome.and DIFFERENT than. Wings Over america. Led zeppelin fans take note. John and Paul were equally avant garde. If anything Paul led the way. and Macca I lover him too
I agree on the versions. One Hand Clapping is a better chance to see the band and rocks just as hard. But there's something about Paul, singing to the audience in this one, "People gathered here tonight, won't you listen to me. To your left and to your right, got some pretty soily company!"
Totally agree with you on what you say about John and Paul. After about 1974 I got more and more disappointed with Paul's music until I finally woke up. All The Beatles were equally important, when people pit one against the other, they really miss the message of The Beatles.
Harri, you haven't done any of Paul's Venus and Mars album songs, many on there I love. I also loved Pauls hair during this video, where did the mullet go?
Sadly John started a lot of that nonsense when he was mad at Paul. He knew Paul's creativity. And Paul could do it all. And he was the original one in the Beatles to get involved with Avant-gardeand introduced it to John.
Harri this isn't the best rocker from this concert, check out the opening songs of Venus and Mars/Rockshow and please check out the song CALL ME BACK AGAIN from this same concert, you'll love it!
Lennon was not overrated, he was genius. Strawberry Fields Forever is the greatest work of the Rock era. Lennon was also a great rock vocalist and awesome guitar player. It's just insane that one band had so much, which is what makes them untouchable.
To me that whole concert is Paul at his very best. not to mention seen him as a rocker. You know with the Beatles they were great but they didn't really move around it was a little different error in the beginning. But this is in rocker mode and I love it.

First time hearing this! Wow!! 😋😋 I agree with you ! I always find him very versatile and he's my favourite Beatle!! 🥰🥰
You are right! The man can do anything! From the softest ballads to the ultimate rocker!!! No "granny song"!!!
And after being at a McCartney concert ten yrs ago....I can tell you.... the audience does not want it to end. They just keep clapping and whistling and screaming!!! They LOVE him!!!
Very good version of this tune on the new Wings release, One Hand Clapping which is great from 1974.
Awesome, awesome, just awesome.
Paul McCartney is a musical genius and a living legend. Definitely check out more Wings. Jet, Nineteen Hundred Eighty Five, Band on the Run, Silly Love Songs, Live and Let Die, Listen to What the Man Said... Any of their songs honestly.
Now watch the opening song that year from the Seattle show: Venus and Mars + Rock Show. You won't regret it.
Yeah that’s an excellent song. I have this album. Vinyl. Listen all the time
From this same concert, try Beware my Love! It is wonderful!
Watch his performance of Call Me Back Again from the same concert. You might think that is his best performance. ABSOLUTELY THIS!!! I've been asking Harri to do this one. It'll blow his socks off!
Never heard this one
Wow!!! I love this. Paul is my favorite Beatle ❤
Had to edit this
The scream at the end was perfect!!!
Paul's screams are fabulous, best ever!
Insane!
Jimmy McCulloch (RIP) was a hell of a guitarist. He died in 1979 at age 26.
Denny left not long ago too. This year I think.😢

Great moment for sure. My top McCartney moment is I've Got a Feeling on the rooftop.
Paul was whatever he wished to be on any given song.
I really did not know this song, awesome performance of Paul !
Fantastic Song ❤❤❤❤
I love Macca too!❤❤
The WINGS OVER AMERICA ❤ was an epic concert experience. Yes, I still have my t-shirt !
What an awesome experience, this is my number one concert I wish I could have seen in person. Glad they made Rock Show to give us an idea of what it was like.
Yup. I saw it in Landover, MD.
Saw Wings Over America in Chicago. It was a dream.
Back in the day you had the Rockers and the Mods. Here McCartney convinced me he was a Rocker too.
My Macca!! ❤
No matter how many times I watch this, I am always blown away! Thank you Harri. - Scott
The Wings line up on this tour was the best group of players : Denny L ,Jimmy M ,Joe E , Linda and of course the main man Macca the master !
Have you done nineteen hundred and eighty four off of band on the run? I think you'd like it a lot. Love your vibe and love your channel man, I'm with you, macca is THE MAN!
Biggest live band in the world at the time. If he had only done Wings he would have been a legend.

WINGS OVER AMERICA
7:30 😯😯😯 was that really live? Wow, that's some vocal performance! Paul McCartney surprised me at the end! Just listen to it a few times!
I watched it 5 times 🙃
Yes, it was live. I was there. Landover, MD. ;-)

Hi Harri. Fyi... the band was called WINGS, not THE WINGS. 😊
Great reaction Harri and nice pik Scott...Slainte ☘️🇺🇲

Wow, lucky you. I was only 11 in 1976 and probably wouldn't have been interested then, but now watching this, that was amazing. Oh for a time machine.
I was the same age but was at the show in San Diego best concert I ever went to.
This is Paul McCartney & Wings at their best. This was a bad a$$ performance. Thanks Scott & Harri. 👋👋👋

It's actually on the Wings at the Speed of Sound album.
@@chrisvanness3911 I have that album. It's not on there. At least not my copy, lol
@@angielofton6372 I stand corrected. I could have sworn it appeared on that album and was speaking off the top of my head. My bad!
I'll also add that I agree with your "cheeky" comment. We were all like, WTF is this? It was kind of a downer way to end the show.
Last song in the set and he's still singing high B's throughout. Incredible voice....with a high E to finish!

I was there (the old Capital Centre in Landover, MD... although not sure where this was filmed), and I totally remember this song. It was the final encore of the show. Great memories.
Totally agree with you Harri.
Rockshow and The Last Waltz! The best rock concerts of all time on video
First time hearing this one!
Fabulous Concert❤❤❤
Love ya Harri! Really love your love for Paul.
If this doesn’t get your blood pumping then there is just no hope.

His vocals here could easily fit into a Kiss song...WOW... His voice has a similar tambor to Peter Chris but with far more versatility and control.

You might wanna check out HI HI HI same concert
This is simply impossible, 7:24 can someone explain to me what this was???
2:50 Harri, honestly, Live And Let Live? You mean Live And Let DIE - written for the James Bond film of the same name (lol!).
Sadly John started a lot of that nonsense when he was mad at Paul. He knew Paul's creativity. And Paul could do it all. And he was the original one in the Beatles to get involved with Avant-gardeand introduced it to John.

NO where near it. Prince,E.L.O, Quo,Procol Harum, Muse. All great live.
