This story is interesting, but I didn't like the sequence of events near the end of the recap, where certain characters made some incredibly stupid decisions for no reason other than clumsily orchestrating it so that Senri goes on to be End's companion later on in the story.
End telling Senri his true nature, because he figured she was "sympathetic". He planned to make a clean getaway after the necromancer's death, and he's jeopardizing it over what amounts to little more than a hunch with huge risks, and little potential benefit.
Then, after Senri rescues him from burning in the sun, he went straight up to the same exact squad of knights who just tried to kill him in a horrifically sadistic manner, with no real insurance or plan of escape, and gets away with it Scott free, for no other reason than the fact that Senri's superior "trusts her". What???
I will agree with you on the first point... That was a stupid gamble...
But I think you missed the point of the second sequence... He didnt go there to talk... They didn't LET him go... And I'm 90% certain that they are all dead...
He just lied to her, and used her naivete to convince her to run away with him instead of returning to a bloodbath

How do you explain how End went from being totally helpless against the weakest of the knights, to suddenly being able to style on their leader, who's definitely in another league compared to them? The old, experienced knight whose presence alone was touted as overwhelming to the MC? Because he drank Seiya's blood? That's terrible in it's own right.
If what you're saying is true, then this embarrassing series of contrivances not only made End out to be a blithering idiot, it also ruined the power-progression of the MC, which up till that point was relatively organic...
@@AllHailMe12431 when he was ambushed in the woods he was caught by surprise and had only JUST BARELY survived his transformation so he was exhausted... Than in the tavern HE was the one with the element of surprise, notice how the SECOND the door is opened he JUMPS straight at the ONLY person in the room who has his armor on and is the biggest threat...

@@Crazyfrog41 Even if you were correct in your assessment, it doesn't fix the scene. It just makes it equally, or even more terrible in a different way.
You're assuming either the MC got a bullshit power boost outta nowhere, enough to take down a veteran undead-slaying knight, who's likely taken down way bigger fish than the MC up to this point.
OR
You're saying that same veteran is incompetent, and can't fight a fledgling undead. Either it's contrived as hell, or it's the beginning of another bargain-bin power fantasy, squandering yet another interesting concept.

The female knight felt compassion for her enemy which probably becomes her undoing. Her party will reject her. The teacher is the only one powerful enough to stop her even if she has youth on her side. Will End become a full fledged vampire or did he once he partook of Senri's blood? What happen to the rest of his body since the only thing left was his head? The "good" knights had no problems with death by torture.
he became the undead lord he says so afterwards and I guess when he took her blood he evolved and was able to regenerate completely

I like this story, it has drama, supernatural stuff, a tiny bit of comedy, & action, and so I hope more gets made of it.
I like the main character, he is a undead with genuine moral-code, I also like Senri the holy-knight character, and I like the side characters.
Moral code? Everything he did was for his own survival and freedom.. he even massacred the Knights of the Divine Order and left clues it was Senri's doing...
The MC really went through hell until he met that girl but now what about the Knights of Demise. I am interested and curious about what is going to happen next. So when available! Please! Thanks for all your hard work! 🤩

Unfortunately this has probably been axed, been on haitus for years now. (I'm talking about the WN)
While the overall story isn't great, one thing I can say is that the worldbuilding is consistent. It doesn't beat around the bush and says what's on the tin even though you may ask "But how?". Logic doesn't apply and the rules of the world is set in stone.
One thing I can say is that there's too much sexual tension with the two main cast without it being consumated. It really leaves a disappointing experience for this to not be finished. Like heck maybe 20-30 chapters more and the story can end... but no.
Overall: 7.5/10

This story was very interesting and had a good and logical progression (taking in consideration that its fantasy, its sad that I have to state this to some people) but the ending was pretty bad, too many illogical and bad decisions, and it does seems it was only to push the outcome. I think a better progression would had been him getting away and she staying hunting him and him slowly proving his innocence to her, sounds a bit cliché but seems more logical.

Yeah... those knights are dead, their throats all cut in one fell swoop and the old guy stabbed through the mouth with Senri's sword as he monologues to him... End is totally messing with Senri, likely he's going to corrupt her slowly over time. He already bit her once... if he turns into a full vampire lord, and bites her two more times, she's totally gonna be a hot vampire queen...
