  • Edited high lights chasing sport bikes. Massive torque is ideal for city & street riding but sacrifices top end power for race tracks as you'll see. A heavy hand full on a tight circuit, but very stable under brakes right to the apex. A joy to ride, fun and super comfy for every day real world riding...

I agree. I've had many bikes but this is my all-time-fav road bike!

Those tyres were very dodgy! The bike is stable breaking deep into corners. But seemed to push wide on exit under power and slower to flick from side to side. Probably a trade off of longer wheelbase?

I have used the 1400 on track days now and then and had great fun every time. That’s right it’s not a sports bike. For me it was/is to learn to handle the bike. And train with your bike on a track is what every biker should do no matter what bike you own.

Totally agree...learn the bike on a track and become a safer rider on the road. Bit of coaching or a good how to / reference book helps too if one is unsure...

How on earth can you keep up on that? It is terribly heavy and has 102 bhp???

Its a sports tourer not a race sports bike

Yes a sports tourer with its sports owner touring around a race track with sports bikes :)
