I think I’ve commented before on this project but I have made several of these bags to give as gifts and people love them. So many things fit in it. They’re fun to make due to your clear and detailed tutorial. Thanks again.
Thank YOU! Thank YOU! A million times...thank you. Love your channel and you are just the sweetest person. All your 'toots' are so easy to follow for completing sewing projects. Your suggestions are just wonderful. You are providing a fantastic opportunity for so many of us...I SO APPRECIATE YOU and ALL OF YOUR EFFORTS!!! The printable patterns and all the Amazon links are wonderful. Please keep up the great tutorials you provide for us.
Hello I just love your tutorials. Your method for slip zip is the best! Would you consider doing a backpack with a zipper closure? I would enjoy seeing your method for putting one together. Thanks for the inspiration.
I just started making this and realize that I won’t have enough fabric to make the handles 42 inches long. (I’m using fabric from my stash) Would it work if I can cut only 38 inches for the handles? Otherwise I will just use webbing.
38" shouldn't be a problem, however if you (or your daughter) plan on using the handles to carry the bag over your shoulder from time to time, that might be a bit short especially when the bag is full (hope that makes sense), otherwise webbing would be a great option :)

At about 6:00 do you baste the lining to the side panel wrong sides together?
Yes, should be wrong sides together.
