I hope hunter realizes how lucky he is to get to learn from so many experienced, knowledgeable and willing to teach guys and is soaking up as much as he can.

The best thing about fab Rats is the way you all treat each other; it makes me want to watch and I really like the mechanics of it all as I am a disabled veteran in a wheelchair and can no longer do that type of work. I really miss it sometimes.

Paul, you rubber pieces for the bug catchers might be available from Classic Cruisers, Red Line Land Cruisers, Cool Cruisers of Texas, Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers, or Yoda Jim's. If they don't have them, they may know where to get them. I don't have factory doors on my 40, so I haven't crossed this bridge quite yet.

Hunter, if you decide to change the oil pan gasket, do the oil pickup o-ring while you're in there!

About 5 years ago a group from IH8MUD grouped together to have a company make big catcher kits. I supplied my old rubber pieces for samples and they made kits for sale which installed perfect. I believe I bought a second spare set.
Trick my Dad taught me. When emptying a bottle of oil, save it & turn it upside down in a clean glass bottle. You'd be surprised how much oil is still in there & what you can use that extra oil for. He would oil up everything & anything, door hinges, what not & so forth with oil gotten from empty oil bottles. Ty for taking us along

Hunter is lucky to have friends like Fab Rats and Chads Fab. They are some of the best people to help you learn how to work on your car and truck and you get to use the lift which always makes working on cars easier than laying on the rocks and mud. Next time turn the bottle the opposite way and you’ll be able to pour it without spilling oil.

Chad shows up just in time for a filter that won't come off! I had one of those one time when I was in business! What a mess! Good idea on the rolls of hoses! To save an argument both welds are good!

Pro tip for Hunter, when adding Lucas oil stabilizer empty about 1/4 of the bottle in the vehicle and then fill that 1/4 back up with your regular oil and shake it up and it will poor out a lot easier and you won't have to sit there and fight with that thick crap forever. Also poke a hole in the bottom of the jug when you are pouring it in. (The mixing actually works the best if you are using a 5qt jug of oil bc you can empty 1qt of oil out then add the entire Lucas oil into the 5qt and it flows straight out like normal oil.)
You can also put the bottle by the heater for a little bit
Remember when STP came in a can?
Also instead of spilling every bottle of oil, get the first one in the hole then cut the bottom off of the bottle.
Insta-funnel,,,,, disposable, no clean up required.
Also,if you turn the 1 quart bottles on there side they pour much easier!

Hi Chad good to see you helping Hunter out with his oil filter I've had to deal with a couple of over tightened oil filters myself and you have to be innovative to get them off. Good job getting the FJ ready for winter and building a hose rack to hold them up off the floor.

Hey, Hunter, when pouring oil out of a 1 qt. bottle hold the bottle sideways, so the label is facing up. You'll get a much neater pour that way.
Both of the welds are better than mine. Steele rubber has bulk weatherstripping just need to match the profile to what you have

Hope all things Fab Rats, I mean people, have a good Thanksgiving. Because there is much to be thankful for.
Oh no, I'm seeing Established Titles making their way through TH-cam. I looked at the their website and the terms, and it's not quite what they imply. You are purchasing a souvenir plot of land on an existing estate (a piece of land someone already owns), which does not confer any legal rights. They state that if need be, your "souvenir plot" will be relocated to another estate somewhere else. In essence, they are selling virtual plots of land that could exist in one place or another, then they take advantage of a law from 2012 to convey a title upon you for being a land "owner". But if the souvenir plots convey no legal ownership, how are you a "land owner"? This is essentially a "title mill", a gimmick to separate you from your money.
It's a scam. Scottish law does not confer any title for souvenir plots of land.
I have also been seeing this scam all over the internet lately. I have even read they have no proof they planted a tree in your name. I was just trying to find the article....

@@stupidass3791 I noticed every channel that fell for that scam and took the advertising money was an American one, the scam has been around 30 years I know of and most people are savvy to it. Pushing it to their viewers is a total scumbag move though. I have yet to seen anyone follow up with an apology, I would at least expect the video to be deleted, but nope, money rules.
Homeprojectchannel, I hate when channels take sponsors to just line their pockets. Another scam I saw was the food composter. You plug it in and waste your electricity while it composts your scraps.
@@stupidass3791 not seen the food composter one, but the fake lordship thing was around when I was a kid, it is close enough to possible that the gullible fools fall for it, you can buy property in Scotland that comes with a lordship, a couple come up each year. They are never cheap. And any actual landowner in Scotland can call themselves a Laird, as that is what it means. You cannot buy 1 sq foot of land in Scotland and if it did you have no right to call yourself lord and lady muck, and genuine British titles are worthless on non Brits too, that should be bloody obvious.
It takes seconds of googling to realise this is a scam and utter bs, but those dollars in front of people's eyes blind them. I wonder what is next they will sell all integrity to shill, fake diet tablets, get rich schemes, Dogecoin. Maybe start selling recovery ropes made out of papermache. On Hunters truck take the 4x4 switch out of the dash. Disconnect it and put electrical grease on the connectors. Re-connect and ba-da-bing. It's a common problem on those years.

I would love to have that Yota.When you let someone else change your oil it seems like they always over tighten the filter.
@JB your 100% rite the butt holes that work at oil lube places seems to always screw stuff up I've personally seen a friend's car were they didn't notice the old O-Ring from old oil filter was left stuck to the engine and of course it started leaking and the same guy from the same oul lube place tried to say it must've happened at another place my friend showed him we're on the paperwork and the little window sticker reminder when to get oil change at these miles.that there was less than 75 miles on current oil change and not to mention it was only 3-4 days before lol

That's been all over the internet for a long time and it's true. Also the fact that no one can legally own such a small parcel of land in Scotland and Scotland in no way recognizes or honors these fake titles and it's a Chinese scam.

You guys present yourselves as an honest wholesome family and I always believed this until today's video when you decided to push a scam that gets your viewers ripped off just so you can make that sponsorship money. I guess it's true what they say money and greed,win out over honesty and integrity ANY DAY!Established Titles” is a scam that will sell you a piece of paper “proclaiming” that you are a Lord/Lady of somewhere. There are a number of companies that do this.
They skirt around Scottish (and British) law by not actually claiming (but implying) that this is a real landed title, similar to Baronet (the highest non-noble title in Britain). “Landed” being used loosely, as it’s probably something like 1 sq centimeter or something similar. Unsubscribing and hoping that no one else spends their hard earned money on this or any other scam your pushing for a quick buck! Sad cause this was one of my favorite channels bot only for the entertainment but the honesty and good wholesome family values. Also feeling dumb for believing in you guys.
If you've ever actually checked out the established titles website it clearly states that it's just a fun novelty. They also do not claim that you are purchasing land that you can build on. I can't speak about their tree planting efforts, but they do state the name of two foundations they donate to, and they offer a refund period if you change your mind. There are too many creaters and companies that promote this gift idea for it to be a complete scam, and it's better than promoting anything Disney or Hollywood related. If you want to see a real scam for your money just turn on any movie made in the last few years.
