    So strapping the tank is checking the level of oil in the reserve tank?

      When we strap a tank it’s to check how much water is in tank. The production tank will have mostly water. Sorry, just saw your question.

      @@northdakotadriver5714 no worries. I got two puppies with me on the road. Doing flatbed. If I were to move to ND I'd have to find a place to rent that allows dogs and have a roommate to help let the dogs out and feed when I'm in the field. Man camps would be good if it was just me.

      That's a local slang term that some workers use to describe what professional industry service operators refer to as performing an accurate production level via a tank Guage measurement.

    What brand of alarm do you use?

    Hey man... Better get a grounding line for that strap. Allot of the companies up here instantly remove you for not having one.

      I did put it on a little late, but it was on. Good catch. Thanks for watching video. I enjoy making them for people that are wanting to come up here and work.

      @@northdakotadriver5714 Already up here. I used your video to show a Chemist friend the H2S exposure we deal with when strapping. I really appreciate you providing that resource so I can show my friends and acquaintances what I do.

    So what was the Level Reading?

    • @northdakotadriver5714
      @northdakotadriver5714  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was 8ft 11in to start. If it’s a single tank every foot it drops is approximately 20 barrels. Depending on how fast or slow water is flowing into tank.

      So if I am pulling into a 120 Barrel Tanker. That closing Gauge should be 2’-11” right?

    • @northdakotadriver5714
      @northdakotadriver5714  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is correct, but It will vary by the speed the water is flowing into tank.

      Once you graduate you can go to North Dakota Craigslist and go to jobs then transportation and you will see lots of jobs. There are lots of places that will hire and train you. You should easily be able to start out around 125,000 a year. Once you get 6 months or so of experience under belt you will be able to make much more.

      @@cadillacjack3240 Yes, still working up there. Almost all companies up there offer either free housing or housing for small fee. Good to get some experience before. It is very challenging up there dealing with fluids during winter.
