Yes, its great to see ... because your input is positive voltage, its a negative voltage regulator. When you have a negative rail to regulate then the output goes to the filter side and the input goes to the regulated side ... according to some diagrams. Others put the negative voltage to the input ... thinking thats correct. Since they are "inputing" negatve current and outputing negative current. So seeing you put the postive to the input makes me think the former is correct.

great video very clear demonstration of 7905...thank you...
easy to understand..explain other component also...thank you..
Good brother i am persia
You used positive & ground rail of power supply but Lm7905 needs Ground & negative. So ic will get damage due to wrong polarity
79 series always accept -ve input....we cant feed +ve voltage, as you are doing....
Bro i know your trick u interchanged polarities of multimeter it wont directly give -5 v
you are using meter probe with reverse direction...
Good video but Stupid music. Why you need this music?
Turn from English to Arabic
This is not a good video yiu can't put negative on pin 1 and positive on pin 2 it's suppose to be the other way around.
Wrong
background music is pure garbage
