I would encourage fans to consider reaching out to see what they can do to bring artists out. I basically slid into RG's Instagram DMs because there was no way I wanted Phoenix to miss out on his tour lol. It was a lot of work, but almost 400 people were super blessed by him and the other artists, and it really helped build the CHH community here in Arizona. I met many people, and many who were all very supportive about getting the word out even though we hadn't yet met face-to-face. In light of how difficult it is to make a decent living based off the number of streams they get, it is extremely helpful to artists if we can provide them with more opportunities to book shows, sell merch, etc. These more lucrative streams of income can then be invested into even more music and other dreams they might have. Too often we become too consumeristic and just take from artists as opposed to offering ways to bless them like they've blessed us. Just thought I'd share! God bless! - Tori aka @Churchmafia

As terrifying as it can be to feel so inadequate, it's the perfect place to be because it encourages you to lean on God and when He shows up, it's so much easier to give Him all the praise! :)

If you haven't yet you should definitely watch KB's South Side Rabbi podcast where he talks about the future of CHH and addresses the church venue concerts and how he and Trip Lee were criticized for doing lots of them on their tour. I’m 34 been in church my whole life, every youth rapper that I knew decided to do music that was singing neutral songs but saying there Christian at the end just go straight secular, and get lost they lose them selves at the end. Why not just represent Christ and be lit about it and rep Christ in there songs and glorify God 💯 ... You can sing all you want in bars and secular stages opening up at a clubs but the only person who can change lives and bring conviction is the Holy Spirit. That dude seems cool I just heard about 10 songs on TH-cam but there not all glorifying God there just songs.
Thanks for sharing. I’d Push back that every RG song glorifies God. It may not be as preachy as you like, but that’s what preachers are for. And there are other preachy rappers that are dope. If you want them, enjoy them. No need to throw shade at RG.
Ruslan KD not throwing nothing at him, that’s just the consequence he’s gonna get from real Christians and he doesn’t have to be on a defensive side is the Lord guided him to do it. On the other side you see a real transformation on Kanye west songs and Lakewood was filled with non Christians and people to see a change. So I don’t believe you need to do neutral songs to say you reach out to the non saved souls. But it’s my opinion. Different rappers or performers for every group.
So anyone who listens and enjoys RG isn’t a “real Christian” according to you? do you hear how silly that sounds? No one has to make neutral songs or not neutral songs. It’s what he wants to do. Let him be faithful to the vision God gave him. If you get the opportunity to meet him and talk privately, do so. But you know what you need to do as someone who so boldly is proclaiming to be a “real” christian? Watch how you speak on fellow Christians you may disagree with. Let NO unwholesome talk come out of your mouth but that which is edifying. Eph 5:1. How is your comment edifying or wholesome to what RG is doing? It isn’t. And I doubt you’d be speaking this way in person. So just be a bit more gracious. Especially on my comments section.
