Deanna, you are probably one of the most genuine makers I’ve seen on any social media. Your skills and ideas are always so fresh and exciting. Your teaching skills are easy to follow. You also show what can happen when we do it ourselves and how to “fix the mishaps”. This is beautiful and so encouraging. Thank you for a GREAT channel and for another gorgeous piece!! Keep going! You’re a good instructor (coming from a fellow instructor). Thank you for speaking and instructing clearly with only necessary info to help the viewer achieve good results. Also, thank you for not playing music as I find it very distracting (so many TH-camrs talk with music playing or blast it in between talking causing me to have to continuously adjust my volume). Can you believe I did a similar technique to this in the mid eighties? All good things come back around! :-)

Gorgeous! I love the wood grain idea! I noticed a few spots where a flat part of the appliqué didn’t touch the surface. Using a syringe with epoxy would fill those and prevent them from ruining the illusion.

That was amazing, it's gorgeous. I hope someone paid you a lot of money for that. I would never have the patience to make it myself. But I can appreciate all the time you put into it. Stunning.

Brilliant!!! I love your video, especially how you broke down each step to make it so simple. Painting the flowers with graining of the wood is next level. It really makes it! Thank you!
