2024 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax Review

The Toyota Tundra was Japan's first entry in America's full-size truck market. Though initially there were teething issues, Toyota was a quick learner and created a fine competitor in no time. For 2024, the Tundra Limited CrewMax Hybrid 4x4 continues to show that Toyota is a player worthy of consideration. ClassicCars TV explores the powertrain, interior, and exterior design, brought to life by the Tundra's rugged Smoked Mesquite paint and black 20-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood lies the 3.4L i-Force MAX Twin-Turbo V6 Hybrid engine that generates 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. The engine and motor come paired to a flexible 10-speed automatic transmission. Base price starts at $60,625, or $66,978 for a fully loaded one like ours.

A couple things I noticed -
1: The Titan actually has the lowest max towing capacity among half tons. I know, sometimes its easy to forget about the Titan!
2: The reason the engine sounds so good is because its actually fake v8 audio being pumped in through the speakers. Yeah, kinda a bummer.
But holy wow! That color is awesome in the sunlight!

just so you know because a lot of people haven’t done the research on this the hybrid engine is tuned for low-end torque when towing that’s when you will notice the difference between the standard and the hybrid it confuses a lot of people because it does not do what they normally expect for a hybrid motor.

Don't... just don't buy. Toyota has lost it's way with reliability, ridiculous prices, smaller and more complicated engine that barely gets better gas milage than the bullet proof 5.7
