Haha. All these haters. 2023-2024 tundra has been amazing for us. Our shop owns 2 and it’s the best full sized truck for the price. No problems, our trucks weren’t part of any recalls either. We get abt 17 MPG, feels great, great torque. I’ll be keeping them for at least 8-10 years minimum
A couple things I noticed - 1: The Titan actually has the lowest max towing capacity among half tons. I know, sometimes its easy to forget about the Titan! 2: The reason the engine sounds so good is because its actually fake v8 audio being pumped in through the speakers. Yeah, kinda a bummer. But holy wow! That color is awesome in the sunlight!
just so you know because a lot of people haven’t done the research on this the hybrid engine is tuned for low-end torque when towing that’s when you will notice the difference between the standard and the hybrid it confuses a lot of people because it does not do what they normally expect for a hybrid motor.
my only gripe is the automatic shutoff restart isnt an option for on instead of off because my truck shutting off at lights should be an opt in not an opt out. every time i get in my truck I get reminded to turn it off. irritating. otherwise loving it.
2007-09 tundra 5.7 v8 were a plugged with motor problems too many to list but if you look it up you’ll find out, I don’t miss the v8 at all my 24 tundra limited 4x4 is better in EVERY way and Toyota did supersede the failing parts in the motor as of January 2024. Like always Toyota will fix the issues and once again it will be if not already best 1/2 Ton truck! I love mine
Don't... just don't buy. Toyota has lost it's way with reliability, ridiculous prices, smaller and more complicated engine that barely gets better gas milage than the bullet proof 5.7
