DAAAAAHHHH.... one of my favorite actresses in THE WORLD. Might I add that the woman fractures me with her candid bluntness and her fantastic way of making you feel like you know her. My hope is to someday meet her, and tell her personally what an inspiration she is to my whole life in general :)
@70sRob - she looks exactly the same as she did way back when. If you noticed, the way she sat on the couch during the interview - never slouched like all the other ladies did.
Hollywood made so much fun of her when she was fighting with her weight and when she would try to lose weight then they would make fun of her about that too. Gerald McRaney loved her no matter what she looked like. He always supported her and I admire him for that. They make like they admire her and yet treated her so bad in the past.
Delta went right to Rosie and kind of ignored Joy & Lizzzy. She turned to them by glancing a few times but she definitely threw shade at them. I noticed it and I am sure Joy felt it. That was a hard year having Rosie larger then life as the "Theview" moderator. For a time the ratings sky rocketed with Rosie joining the sleepy talk show. Rosie made it must see morning TV due to celebrity feud with Donald Trump among others. The on air argument with Lizzy made the national and international news around the world. Rosie quit or was fired? Who knows? Rosie handled that badly and her career has never really recovered from the today 2020.
Yes, Delta had lost weight and looks beautiful here, but Rosie practically screaming about it and the others mentioning it several times throughout the interview sends an AWFUL message to other women. What if Delta showed up and hadn't lost weight? What if she'd GAINED weight? What if she didn't look good? What would the women have fawned over then? Would they have had to focus on -- well, look at that -- her work or the fact that she's a great actress and a much-loved personality? Why in the world is this all about what she looks like?
Why does her voice sound so different? Did she always sound like that and only had those wonderful accents for her characters on Filthy Rich and Designing Women?

Delta is in a wheelchair now unfortunately, so I doubt we'll see any new projects from her. I agree, she's great.
