    Really impressive! Some people don’t pick up that it’s not about the wrap color they want, your experience and passion really makes the difference for a great instructional video. For me wrapping PPF on the front bumper was a full on nightmare. Guess I should have removed it. 🤣

    for the roof, i'd say, use some of that wrap that city buses use... its see-through..passengers can see through it, but those on the outside, they only see an image thats been etched into the wrap. And it is composed of thousands of black little circles.. etc. not sure they call the wrap. Buses usually promote marketing on the side and they use those wraps to promote.

    Not sure if you ended up wrapping the glass but if you did I recommend removing it. In my recent car accident I totaled my 3. The roof glass was tinted by my tint guy.. little did I know when I was in a very bad accident the roof glass did not shatter like it was supposed to because of the tint on the glass. It then whacked me in the head as a full sheet of broken glass shards cutting the skin on top of my head! It’s the only injury I got that sucked. Others were minor scrapes and bruises. Anyway that’s my .02 for other tesla owners.

    Looks fantastic Brian and great color combo. You're getting good at wraps and thanks so much for posting the tools and such in the description. Is it me or does the tan mark on the hood at 11:00 look like some type of bumble bee? It seems the trick for application is to start in the middle of the panel and work your way out. I believe you said you didn't remove the PPF and the vinyl is over the PPF. Interesting, I guess there is no issue with doing that.

    Brian love your videos, I have a question for you, do you change the color of your car on your registration with the DMV when you wrap your car? I had the same dent in the same location on the hatch of my model Y and had it removed by Paint Less Dent Remover guy in my area of CT and you would never know it was damaged, he did a great job and he let me watch him do his magic! It took him close to four hours and cost $260.

    Hey I’ve been saving this video as a reference to try it myself. I can’t remember what part of the video you mentioned the dimensions of the material you ordered. What width and leg the did you start with to complete the project?

    • @i1Tesla
      @i1Tesla  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I order a full roll of vinyl when I wrap cars now. That way if you mess up a panel you have more. Normally if you have to order a small amount it is twice the price if you would just get the whole roll. A roll is normally 75 feet

    model Y has heat pump, so it is nonsense to use it to heat up inside of garage

  • @pdr770

    Tesla Will Developed a 15,000$ car with Smaller Frunk and Trunk for 5 People including 3 Kids with Less Battery and Only one or Two Engines. Work. With Beauiful Design. Model 1. But i Much preffer A Small CyberTruck for 20K with to 3 Engines, Alon with 3 Angles in Up.

  • @RubenKelevra
    @RubenKelevra 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well, the model 3 has a heat pump. Using it to heat the garage isn't really a good idea. You're basically running a fridge with an open door 😂

  • @awo1fman
    @awo1fman 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can heat or cool a garage with a car that has a heat pump. You're just moving heat from outside the car into the car. In othe words, from one place in the garage to another place that is also in the garage. It's exactly the same as leaving your fridge door open to cool your house. 🤔🤣

    • @i1Tesla
      @i1Tesla  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It worked very well

    • @awo1fman
      @awo1fman 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@i1Tesla People that leave their fridge open think so too. Sure, you can feel the heat coming out of the vents and you can't as easily feel the cold air blowing out of the evaporator because of where it's located and it's a lot more diffused, but it's not changing the overall temperature in the garage, just in very small areas. It's physics. It was the space heater doing all the work.
      The Model X has a resistive heater and no heat pump, so it would help, although it would be very inefficient. But all Model Ys have heat pumps.
