This was the Cybersank edit for the album, the original recording was recorded in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid in Egypt, along with two other songs, Millennium and Exorcism, which you have to listen to. According to witnesses, the recording (arranged by bribing officials) was beset with power outages, battery drains, and the locals who helped roadie the equipment in ran away terrified because they thought Killing Joke had invoked evil forces. You should check out the film made about Killing Joke (It's on TH-cam now) called 'The Death and Ressurrection Show' (named after one of their songs.) It's CRAZY.

this mix is squashing Geordie's guitar in attempts to draw the keyboard forward, so glad i got the single for recognition. Check out prior album, "Extremities" is much grittier KJ. Pandemonium was my gateway to the incredible world of Killing Joke. The original version of this song is over 8 minutes long. And it is without those chugging riffs. I love both versions. Cybersank had many powerful mixes in the 90's. I never tire of listening to Killing Joke. I love all their albums

The song that got me into the band was "Follow The Leaders", theres several versions, most with a longer intro, but the original single had a tighter intro, which I prefer ... here it is ! A great rabble rousing anthem that was a breakthrough in the early 1980's, with its massive drum line, geordie walkers distinctive guitar textures, and jaz's raging vocals !
