Pausing halfway to thank you guys so much for this video! No matter how many guides I read it Rick Steves videos, your travel diaries if you will are the most informative and trusted sources for info when planning a trip! Not doing the ABD but I'm backpacking through these parts and now know where to eat/sleep and spend my money, thanks so much you guys ❤️

This looks fantastic, and I would LOVE to do it! It's most especially appealing to me because Pete mentioned somebody with mobility issues that was there, and I have them also - SO nice I could actually do most of the stuff! I would LOVE to see the water stuff at the Pleasure Palace, sounds SO cool!! Wish there would have been even MORE pictures go go along with must more of what you were describing!! ROTFL at the holy water coming in Jagermeister bottles!! Great job, thanx for sharing this, all!

Pete, the dessert you talked about is called Salzburger Nockerl. It can be difficult to make at home but I did make it a few months back successfully. There are plenty of recipes online but I watched how to make on “Vacation In Austria” FB page. If you scroll back to July 19th it was a live stream they did.
I enjoyed hearing all about your trip Pete , and hearing Craig tell about his to the same places. I love your pictures. John and Kevin you help us understand about the trips from your experience. Kevin, I’d sit at the cafe with you as my squeaky bones wouldn’t be able to slide down those boards into the Salt Mines 😳😇In the late 80’s I did go with a high school trip
I am counting the days until my 1-year old turns 4 so We can go on our first ABD. Starting to save now tho 😉
