I’m a senior at scad graduating in March, the food was so much better my freshman year and be prepared to be buying a lot of out food. Idk if ur in the hive or one of the other dorms but security guards can be mean and please don’t freak out about the busses, you can pretty much walk anywhere unless ur at Monti Hall. The beds at the hive a really tall and I had 3 totes under mine and had a good two feet along space above them so u can be creative with storage

hi, i'm gonna be a sophomore at scad this fall!! i honestly found the food to be pretty good, especially for a dining hall, so I wouldn't be too worried. plus, o house and victory (boathouse) have good options for scad food other than the hive if u have a friend who has a car or u wanna walk! i also definitely recommend a bike because it made getting to places around sav and class so much easier. scad's such a fun place with amazing people I'm sure you'll love it :)

Syd, I was laughing so much about the blue striped comforter, led lighting and the "Weekends are for the Boys" flags, definitely a no go at SCAD and if anyone has those they probably won't last the first semester. My son attends Ringing College of Art and Design so room decor is much more artistic. Hot tip: Get a normal mop and then get Method's Squirt and Mop which is much better for just cleaning up dorito crumbs (not speaking from experience or anything) and also actually disinfecting your floor. It's also way better for the environment bc you're not throwing the pads out all the time

Hey wireless charging comes in clutch. My roommate lost/broke his charger or his phone would charge (I forget). But with my wireless charger it helped me out a lot

Lived in Savannah for eight years, beautiful town to live, but be aware how absolutely stiflingly humid it is for about eight months of the year.
side note, you can just use a microfiber cloth on your swiffer instead of buying new wipes. also THANK YOU, for buying actual plates etc instead of disposables.
