There is one major difference between the two when it comes to UI. NativeScript walks in the footsteps as others, trying to bridge the Android/iOS UI into a single API. React Native only has a very basic set and its up to the community to drive a merged API between Android UI and iOS UI. Even then if you look at when you need to install many cross platform libraries in React Native its not just a simple command line, you also need to start altering the iOS and Android projects plus native code.
The other is slightly less important and its how you access native API. Most of all of NativeScript plugins are in pure JavaScript as you can call Java / Objective-C code without writing native bridge files.
Lastly there is a minor correction to the NativeScript Marketplace. These plugins are not reviewed or maintained by NativeScript. There are "verified" plugins which is only 8 or so at this time. You might have pulled from that information from an incident with a major plugin contributor, who took some widely used plugins into a paid subscription modal, "ProPlugins". So when NativeScript 6 was released, featuring Android X and breaking just about every plugin, devs had no choice but to look at ProPlugins subscription modal to get NativeScript 6 support. NativeScript acknowledged this issue and basically has the plugin god, Eddy Verbruggen trying to provide support for many of these defunct plugins, or they've taken steps to no longer need some of these plugins by building these features into the core of NativeScript. Since the community is small its not ideal to have paid plugins. At the end of 2017 NativeScript saw this and released their Pro UI plugins for free to drive more people to their platform.

Hey thanks for the comment! You made some really good points. I didn’t know about the UI differences. When It comes to “ProPlugins” I wasn’t sure what to think. Many of my apps rely on those plugins and I wasn’t sure if upgrading to NS 6 was worth it. Hoping the community and Nativescript can reach a conclusion that makes everyone happy. Thanks again for watching!

No more since React Native 0.60 auto linking. Now it's mostly a breeze.

If I was to build a social media website using HTML CSS and vue3, could I use all the code in this to make an app or would I have to rewrite/change alot of the code?

Hey bud, you mention you built an app for android and IOS using nativescript. I'm wondering how you were able to have an emulator running so that you can preview IOS builds? I know the Android APK thing is ok windows but I can't find any references to running an instance of IOS on windows. It's the main thing holding me back at the moment as I work on windows...

Hey Lewis! Unfortunately you need a Mac to run the iOS emulator from what I know. Maybe there is another way but I’m not aware of it.

Man My personal choice is native script but I have heard from my friends that react is more faster but usually with with them I really need to prove them

You title it 2023 yet you released this video Oct 2019
A lot can change in 4 years (of this writing) so that title is misleading
