For the first time, we, the people, proudly support our government. Prime Minister Albin Kurti embodies integrity, dedication, and European values, inspiring us with his unwavering commitment to our nation's democracy. We seek support from the United States and European Union for Kosovo's entry into the European family, reflecting our European identity as Albanians of Kosovo. The facts speak for themselves, with 95% of us eager to integrate into Europe. Regarding our neighbors, Serbia's preference for autocratic regimes like Russia and China over European values is evident, with only 35% expressing similar desires.

Loved seeing AK schooling both of the hosts. Kurti is unquestionably intellectually superior to any political leader at the present, and for the sake of the Albanian nation (there is no such thing as a Kosovan nation), he lives and has a sound mind for decades to come. The hosts repeatedly question negotiations and Kurti's stance, but they seem myopic as to why he has to adopt that very stance. Secondly, because of the very mandate, - the previous stooges were dangerously useless and very detrimental to Kosova, threatening to undo its very statehood. Quite telling of the hosts' way of thinking and what democracy means to them or how they perceive it. On negotiations, the truth is in the detail but many of these lay leaders and demagogues who have no problem giving up others' rights remain obtusely oblivious to the details and the truth on the ground. I wish the same persistence was applied when dealing with Vucic. Alternatively, treat Kurti with the same leniency. Kurti's state craftmanship is undeniable and is preparing for the inevitable collision which Kosova will be on a much stronger footing. Plus, this time, Albania is in NATO and the paradigm is very different.

I thought his comment about the centre of negotiations was the opposite to red lines. Say you’re arguing about colours red and blue. One side is clearly blue and the other side is clearly red but red thinks the centre purple is more of a magenta shade rather than a violet. And then negotiate for a compromise in your centre and stay within that boundary. Rather than just having clear red lines that the opponent will clearly target for points scoring.

By not compromising in the middle he meant that if the parties negotiating are in the middle and not far out in the opposing extremes, then any deal is beneficial to both as there can’t be major loses on either sides. You only compromise when you need to get closer to something, but there’s no need to compromise when you’re close to or already there.
