    Most important to me
Time to concentrate on living healthy
    Time for adventure
Piece of mind (work will no longer interrupt my free time)

Goal to track expenses and quantify annually basis. Then have enough money to cover these expenses for 20 years adjusted for inflation includes SS.

We are almost nearing retirement. We have experienced how it was to have parents who never saved for retirement. They lived day by day. Money earned was just enough for food on the table. We have saved some and worry that we might not have enough. We are lucky in a way that we can live in another country. Our combined SS benefits would be more than enough without touching our savings. I’m not sure really how much is enough for us. I’m concentrating on helping out people so they can be self-sufficient and have a better future.

Also, spending preretirement is different than post retirement so one can't assume pre spending goals versus post spending goals. Apples and oranges...
