- Akai VS-G205EDG
This VCR is from around 1990 (I don't know the exact date). I didn't find any detailed information inside the case.
This VCR is in very good condition. The player receives a video tape, plays, rewinds, and displays the video on TV. Akai doesn't chew the VHS tape!
I really like the mechanism that is used in this VCR (I think it is the best mechanism, it never breaks and is easy to maintain). And in general, I love the AKAI brand. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
2:15 - that mechanism accelerating in distinct steps with it’s sounds, oh my god it brings back SO MANY MEMORIES... I am just amazed, how many memories You can have with something you grew up with, even when it’s just a stupid piece of consumer electronics
I call it “do, re, mi, fa, so, la, si” and vice versa :)
Ah, VCR of my childhood! With it’s distinct remote control. My parents had it, also my grandparents had it. Both units still works like a champ, 30-something years later, without issues. There’s nothing like "belts perished away" or "It’s tired to do rewind", nothing like that. Though I remember it had very limited capabilities, mono only, no LP speed, etc.
Ah the sounds of that deck, it reminds me of the Akai VS-G 757 I used to have (you probably already seen it on my youtube channel) great vcr, very reliable and well made.
Akai made pretty good VHS players
*Mmmm nostalgia*
Is it possible to show the OSD screen on the screen. Other versions of the remote controller had the "display" button which is called "Dimmer" now. I am missing the "menu" button as well, which was at the place which is now "clock".
Идеальный.
El veta de video muy bueno japones como tecnico lo recomiendo,
Sale karna hai to price batao.
Who mfg for Akai? JVC? Sanyo? Doesn't look like a Matsushita. Luckily the green BMW bag didn't kill its reliability!
😂👍
Cel karna hai
