Yo it's a shame TJ doesn't have his Ferrari anymore, it would have been great to recreate the "how much did it cost" scene when this project is done xD
I cant wait to see what you do with it!!!! Personally not a fan of double spoilers. Personally id do either duckbill or gt wing. I also think it would be cool to get flyride or illumausthetics to build some custom headlights and taillights
I think the term is "massage." You've got to _massage_ the body kit to the car, so that way, it not only looks great, but that it _feels_ great. There ain't nothing worse seeing a car with a badly fit, rushed bodykit. On the other hand, nothing looks better than a car with a body kit that looks as if it came from the factory with it. Gives new meaning to the term "fresh & fit." Well done, Throttle crew! Looks awesome, fitted to that Supra!
@@benpowitzky4820 Damn It! I was hoping a won a test drive of the final build and then me and Vin Diesel would go race a ferrari to tokyo while powersliding thru a crowd, eating popcorn-shrimp and reminiscing about Brian…..oh well part 4 awaits. Thanks for the headsup
The Speedwell kit is definitely my favorite! And guys please don't drop the ball once you do wheels. Of course they gotta have Deep lips!!!!! Awesome start. 👍😁💯🏁🏁🏁👆👌
The best part of the video isn’t the body kit … it’s everyone looking like a kid getting exactly what they want for Christmas, everyones look of pure joy when they see the kit on makes me so excited for this build
This may very well be the best project you guys have ever taken on. It's an homage to the original, a modernization of a hero car, and I'm sure Paul would have been absolutely enamored with it. Honestly if Vin Diesel doesn't see this car in person, when complete, that'll be such a crime. I'm stoked to see what the heck you have to fit to the car as far as wheels and tires. It's going to have more meat than the Viper almost! On a side note I need to hit the lottery so I can fly my RX7 out to you guys and have it done with this level of care and attention to detail.
I've seen quite a few modded up Supras from movies to car shows to looking up on how the owners have made it their way. I can't wait to see Throtl's version; u guys are going to KILL IT!!
Just wanna say..... for all you gentlemen out there, Call ur Mother's..... tell em you Love them. Just found out yesterday mine has a couple weeks left out of left field. Needed to get that off my chest, but again..... Thank you for posting this and allowing me to have a little time to keep my mind busy. Looking forward to see how this ride comes out ✌️
You work from the quarter panel forward cause the quarter panel doesn't move. Doors, fenders, skirts, front bumper and hood all adjust from that point.
I have to admit, I knew a wide body kit was coming….to me, most wide body kits don’t look right on a Supra. With those wide hips they already have, it seems like too much. This one though, looks pretty nice. Excited to see it completely molded in and painted! Nice job fellas!
Definitely continue the diffuser black out the sides at the back of the rear quarters like Speedwells promo pics show!! Looks killer! This cars going to be sickkkk
personally, would really like to see that built in rear diffuser cut out and ya'll do your own thing like on previous builds, looks too "cookie cut" with a built in. $0.02
Throtl vip squad good afternoon Rickie Mickey Quinn Evan Rick victor Shawn Will Nate Tim Big Jeff awesome test fitting the body kit that kit reminds me of the Gold top secret Supra 😊👍🏽🤙🏽♥️
The 2F2F Supra is my favorite over the FnF one. This kit is essentially TRD 3000GT style and I love it! Would be cool to see some carbon work done with the rear diffuser and a front splitter but I understand why it probably won’t happen.
Good choice boys. I remember the OG red F Bomb car at numerous shows in the past and it's a gorgeous car. Incidentally, Speedwells refurbed my SP1 Professors for my Supra. ✌️ Good luck with the build.
Great googly-moogly! Great choice on the body kit. As much as I love the F&F homage themes, I think maybe this time you go with a more unique motif, with maybe a few call-backs to F&F content. Either way though, I love that you're tackling an MK4 and going full SEMA mode on it. Can't wait!
This is going to look fantastic once its painted and Quinn gets that engine into top shape, imagine this car finished and at SEMA with the Eclipse right beside it AWESOME !!! watching and enjoying you guys build this car its going to be Epic.
This is awesome, I think it's the best widebody for the supra. There is no better wing than the stock one though, I think. With that Diffuser, wide rear and stock wing would look so clean and slick
I'd like to keep it stock, since these things are becoming modern classics, or to use a proper bodykit that is made with precision of OEM to bolt on straight to the body!
You should get Bobby Layton to paint one of your cars. TH-cam channel to TH-cam channel type thing. Great work guys. I enjoy watching your projects, wish I could do this type of stuff again. Thanks again!
It would be cool if the defused on the back and the front bumper lip was a separate carbon piece, just for more detail and would look less fake.... but very stoked guys
Looks alright. The Supra body looks awesome without a wide fender kit, but hey, it’s more of a show car than a mint collectors car. Go at it young boys with your toys, It’s gonna look great for the Sema show
Genuine question, why has cutting up a clean chassis for a widebody kit become the thing to do? I always though that was for reviving damaged chassis. For example, you find a chassis with damaged quarters, so you throw overs on it. Just a question.
99.9% I agree with you on that one but that .001 % has to argue finding a body in good enough shape that's not completely warped or rusted out is hard enough on a 25 year old car. Clean slate build out with a know good body under it is best for the longevity of the total build.
@@NAFIGGAMING That makes sense, but it’s not going to be used in that sense though. It’s a show car, I’m sure they could still buy a crashed car and do it that way instead. I wouldn’t argue if it was an actual track car and making it a widebody to add meaty tires to allow it to grip the track was the point. But it’s just a show car that isn’t going to be used for that purpose. You know?
was thinking the exact same thing. That supra was super clean, abeit with a blown head gasket. But it could be solved quick and put back on the road with little to no fuss.
@Connor Mackenzie the ridox kit is just a nice OEM+ look, subtle changes while still looking different. Which would go along better with a modern day build as if you look at their Eclipse build they kept it stock looking while making it some subtle changes to the look, so why not do the same with this one? I'm sure they all held a meeting on which kit and direction to go with for the build and perhaps they also considered that the ridox kit would look too oem and they needed to stand out a bit more.
@Connor Mackenzie Where's your logic? You said the Ridox kit and TE37's are "Overrated". What Overrated means is that they are not as good as people say they are, but where's your facts? Th monogram TE37 is one of the best possible wheels you can put on a performance car, and the 6 spoke design is a timeless design that MANY cheap brands try to replicate. Same goes to Ridox. Is it overrated? Or is it widely accepted among most people? It's objectively a good looking kit. The TE37 is objectively a good looking wheel. Hows that for logic? Where's your logic? All you've done is misuse the word "overrated". If you cannot afford Ridox or TE37's, that's okay. But they are not overrated.
Yo it's a shame TJ doesn't have his Ferrari anymore, it would have been great to recreate the "how much did it cost" scene when this project is done xD
I can't believe he sells his most custom cars.
Cringe
Don’t they still have the fake Ferrari?
The owner and driver of the black Ferrari was director Rob Cohen
More than you can afford pal
"We're going to mould this" so happy to hear this! This car will look incredible when its done great work as always gents!

Always loved those XXR wheels. Can't wait to see how this turns out though
I like the body kit but honestly I love supra with stock body and spicy wheels.
Agree! Not everything needs wide body. Getting overplayed at this point…
This is going to look awesome! So ready for this build!
This thing is going to be nuts! One of my favorite throtl builds ever! Can't wait to see what happens when Quinn gets a hold of it
Oh snap haha
Can confirm "STUNNER" is a word, a great British word for a great British body kit, awesome build as always!
This build is going to be insane! Really love the ducktail wing, don‘t think it even needs another one. Keep up the great work guys!
You didn't win anything it's a scam. Don't be fooled like I was.
modern day fast & furious supra already in love with the idea of the finished car
This thing will look insane. Another one for the fleet. I'm not convinced with a wing and the duckbill though, I think I like it as is!
It's so crazy I came across Throtls channel 3 years ago with the 3000gt build and these guys hands down became one of my top 3 automotive channels
Cleetus Boosted Boiz and throtl are my top 3 with the hunt and co boys right after
Ya’ll are killin it! Keep it up. I’m glued to this. Just promise the wide body kit isn’t going to have visible rivets showing from the outside.

This a moulded kit thankfully!
That is going to be a sick ass car. I really hope that you are going to put complete forged crank rods and pistons in this motor for the supra.

it's the same body kit that the Supra GT3000 had.
