    I am just in the process of learning to do this. i have done a couple of practice runs with just a few sheets of patterned paper and coordinating solids and just a few pieces of ephemera and bling. While I love making fun fold cards and making them unique by putting in a lot of time designing them, there are times when you need to just crank them out, still with care, but taking less time. Thanks for the ideas.

    This is such a great idea to make a whole 12x12 paper pad into Christmas cards all in one sitting. Wow! And all of your cards look so nice. I bought this paper pad to make slimline envelopes with, which I have already made some, but you have inspired me to make some cards with this pad. It is a beautiful pad and, as we can see with your cards, it makes lots of fabulous, quick Christmas cards. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I cut down the 30 remaining pages in a 12x12 Christmas pad. So far, I die cut a steel rule seasonal scroll and have 5 cards that only need a sentiment strip. THANK YOU! I LOVE seeing your whole process

      @DonnaJo3452 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We do that with Art Glitter Glue so only a thin, thin layer of glue is laid down! Only a tiny bit is needed! It sounds like you have really sensitive ears. My sister does too and things like this hurt her ears. And unfortunately I have a really loud voice! I have to be really careful when we're in a car together because my voice hurts her ears. I can't use my speaker on my iPhone when talking to her either. Now me, I love those noises! I love the cracking sounds when I die cut things! When I bought my ScanNCut I was sad because I knew I was going to miss that cracking sound!

    I've got her Christmas paper for last yr, it's beautiful to. And still in my craft room, I am the type that thinks to much. I don't know why, especially when I know it all matches lol. I have to start making cards. .. It is a little difficult when I have 5 dogs to take care of & let out and not at the same time 90% of the time. They can't stay out for very long cuz I'm in AZ. It's in the hundreds. To hot for man nor beast lol. Tfs!

      I know you didn't ask me so I hope it's ok if I answer. I buy either Hobby Lobby's Heavyweight Cardstock, it feels like it's 110 lb and I buy it when on 50% sale or use a coupon, or Michael's 110 lb. cardstock, again on sale or using a coupon. I like really heavy card bases. I use really nice expensive cardstock for special cards. I buy Crafter's Companion Centura Pearl for those, it's shimmery. Hope this helps!
