the advice online that you tired only work on the gen 1. You have a gen 2 this trick doesn't work. To re-cerebrate this version is a bit more complicated. Maybe I'll do a video to explain how to do it. The Chinese set the speedo higher on purpose to trick the American market that this bike can go faster than it can. This is because this bike have a small engine and the driving speed in the US is higher than anywhere else in the world. In most country like in Asia and Africa (Where these bikes are popular) the highest speed you'll ever go is 50 mph.

Let me know if you are still interested in fixing your speedometer. I know it's been awhile.

@@zapo4867 you need to buy a small programming stick that's about 80$ and have to wire it on to the speedometer. I'll drop a link when I have time

I've seen this solution, inline sensor programer. As an upgrade, it's at the bottom of my list, but thank you for the suggestion.

No no it's right your doing it right but your pressing the buttons first then key so it's not the same time.. one hand on key spread your fingers for buttons at the same time you press, turn the key..should work

Thank you, I saw others doing it, via TH-cam, and didn't work for me. I might tinker with the speedometer more in the future, but for now I have the GPS and not really afraid of being accused of speeding with this bike. :D
