I honestly hate the face cams in tutorials lol. Pet peeve, but it seems a lot of people do like them for whatever reason. Love the videos though, keep it up!
@@Dylanjn2301 hello, comrade! I found out that 1st level sudivide (CTRL + 1) + smooth shade at object mode gives pretty nice quality. It's about 196'000 tris.
Trying to follow your series and I'm stuck at annotation. I can't get it to work unless I'm in the layout screen. I can't see any drawing in the sculpt mode. Can you help?
Cannot find neither "Annotations" icon in the left vertical menu (but still I can draw with "D" button and left mouse), nor "3D cursor" dropdown on the top in my Blender 2.8. I found "3D cursor" in the right panel pressing "N". But there's no "Surface" option. Only Location X, Y, Z. How can I find all these?
All you need to do is put a point light inside the model and have the range of the light extend past your jack-o-lantern. Then change the color of the light to give off the glow you want.
Rearrange your blender window so that there's an irrelevant panel in the area where your face video will be. Otherwise you're inevitable going to run into situations where you are clicking things in blender that are being covered by your face video and the audience can't see.
thanks very much
I've been waiting for this!
Enjoy sculpting and Happy Halloween!

Hello! I tried the lesson, but got very low resolution with big cubes. Did you use subdivide? How many triangles are enough?
im getting the same issue, have you gotten the answer to this?

@@maximshumeyko7809 hey thanks heaps for replying. I'll give that a go. Do you get heaps of lag after a while of sculpting?
@@Dylanjn2301A lot of them :-)
Is there a way of lining up the photo for sculpting?

You need to go up to the overlay control in the top right and enable annotations in the sculpting window.
@@StudioKavod Finally found it! Thank you for your help. I love your tutorials!

Finally found it after switching to the "Object mode".
We have a CS kid wanting to learn Unity. Make Unity videos? (not me btw, just a buncha Juniors)
Once I'm done with blender I'm actually moving away from game development content. Unity's website has a ton of content for them to learn.
nice :) can you add a tut how to make it glow?

Next do a chicken nugget. lol I got an ad for a blender tutorial while watching yours.
That's kinda dirty of that ad, but at least they got their target correct.

That's a good suggestion. I'll do so in the future.
