I'd dump your dex points into endurance instead of strength if you're mainly focusing on the ash of war damage as it doesnt scale with strength only weapon level. That way you could have more stamina for blocking and equip load and trade out the great jar arsenal for something else.
It would be really fun to do a series like this based around ashes of war that can be applied to more generic weapons, such a swords, longswords, halberds, axes, and so on. While it is a lot of fun to see builds around weapons where the ash of war is not customizable (such as the One-Eyed Shield in this video, or the Dark Moon Greatsword, for example), many players enjoy customizing their builds a little more, even to the point of choosing what ashes of war to place on their weapons/shields/etcetera. So, for example, a video based on the Giant Hunt ash of war or a video based on the Lion's Claw ash of war would both qualify for this potentially new series. These videos could point out what weapons compliment the ash of war the best, along with the armor, talismans, and other buffs that also compliment the ash. Okay, this comment is long enough as it is. I'll just end it here... cool.
@@pastorgainzgames Raptor of the mists would be a really cool ash to mess around with too. Rusted anchor deals pierce damage, making the jump attack deal massive damage to enemies in an attack animation. For a duel wield option in your first playthrough, the Pickaxe is a weapon that also deals pierce damage. Even though it's a greathammer, it shares a power stance moveset with Great Axes so the jump attack pairs nicely with the rusted anchor. Not something I see get a lot of attention, but still holds it's own in the damage department.
Good inspiration to run early game shield only. Personally I duel wield the vintage shield, no pts into health early game. Only endurance for infinite block, and strength to pack a punch.
if youre on ng4 you should already gotten it on yout 1st run. Youre in ng4 complainging about a weapon being end game when you couldve gotten it 3 playthroughs back

@@pastorgainzgames Thanks. I'll give it a try then. I'm currently playing NG+ and have restricted the use of a mimic this time around and I've been stuck on Malenia for several hours now. Lol, I'm willing to try anything at this point.

Not a bad idea man thanks for the comment!
Paired with a thrusting weapon and flaming strike for optimal control . thank you for your build
No thank u!
Hey, thanks for this video, i was a little stumped and the talisman setup as well as the flask helped a ton.
It's a blast.
Flail and one eyed became my favorite build in years of souls games. Being light and two handing the shield is dope it has a fun ass quick qump attack
Dude yes! That sounds super fun
Think I'll try this when the dlc comes out combined with the rusted anchor for full ahoy
dude sounds like a fun time

Other builds: cool guy and cool shword
This build: "Shut yo... *spits* "
lol 100% true
This is a true meaning of a tank!
Yeah cool and all… But it’s an end game weapon. I’m playing as a warrior now. It’s my 4th playthrough. It is trully a shame that it is soooo far away.
It is a rather late game build, still wild though

Wat would be the best way to recommend a build i got a few that would be interesting to look at?
Just leave it in the comments here or message me on Twitter
@@pastorgainzgames alright appreciate it
Does it depend on what armor i wear
No it doesn’t😎
Have you tried this against Malenia?
Yeah if u can hit her it works super well but the timing of your shots is super important. Wait till she is close then let loose

Can anybody drop me this shield maybe? I forgot to get it before new game plus☹️☹️
Forgot a buff. Jellyfish shield for another 20%
But the buff goes away when you put the shield on ur back

How can i make this build into level 125?
Less Strength probably
Is it just me or do I yell "KABOOM" every time use the ash of war
U do and thats ok :)
Every enemy shown in this vid is a garbage tier mob...
Not exactly hard to do massive damage to them...
Unoriginal. Also you only showed early game bosses.
Yeah because I make videos from where I’m at in the game this is all on NG+5 with a 150ish build. But thanks for the comment
