Your demonstrations are great and self explanatory in any language! But thank you for doing them in English also!

Eivind, your english is very "understandable". Even in your beautiful norwegian language a flytyer can follow the tying when you're using "basic" terms" as hackle-whipfinish- etc ... . Now we can also hear your tips (before only watching) and why you use them in your flytying. Norwegian or English; Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience and giving us inspiration by letting us see you tying these fabulous flies. Thank you = TAKK = Dank U (= my language)

Hi Frank H. Vielen Dank. Sind Sie von Tysklad? Ich spreche ein wenig Deutsch.
Ich hoffe, einige Filme in Englisch gemacht haben.

Elvind, your English is very good and clearly spoken. I am not bi-lingual and that is my shame. I did take Spanish but I didn't use it so I forgot most of it. I also like your fly but I use the soft hackles for most of my wet flies. I do not have salt vs fresh water capes. I know flatwing capes are for the sea, but other than that I have at leas 40 Whitting dry and wet fly capes not counting my soft hackle with chickabou. I have one so beautiful I will probably not use the feathers. It is a very dark cree, and they are so hard to come by. I have many different shades of cree but this one is exceptional. I tie a fly very much like this for fresh water streamer. All the best, and God bless. Sean

Thanks for the very clear explanations. I just tied a couple of baby magnuses on hooks 10 and 12 and will use them for brown trouts on the rivers. Let's see how that works.

I wanted to ask you what varnish do you use. I have vieniards clear no. 1, and Bennochi with needle applicator. I am just wondering because yours looks thinner than mine. All the best, Sean

Sean Mooney Hi Sean. These days I use Vieniards Clear no. 1. In the this sbs movie I use a varnish from fly&co. I also use a tiny drop of thinner so the varnish gets a little thinner. All the best Eivind B.
