- Watch as we take a trip to Iowa Falls, IA during a deep freeze in order to see an amazing 200+ old vehicle auction nestled in tree grove of an small town in central Iowa. Will we leave with some old rusty gold or with nothing?

Love watching.
When I was in grade school I used to cross through the yard in front of his house from 2nd ave to river street to go to school. I lived a block away. He had some way cool cars back there but my favorite was an old C Cab dump truck. I asked him once if those old cars ran at that time he told me everything out here runs. He was a genius with engines and mechanics. Actually got to see the C Cab in the 4th of july parade a few years later. He had a shed full of restored john deere tractors at one point, and was a collector of Indian motorcycles Frank from American pickers bought one from him the end of the episode was cool He jumped on a bike and rode it down the driveway and headed down river street he was close to 90 at that point. My Dad used to have coffee with him at McDs sometimes. RIP Doug
Interesting sale, I've known Doug most of my life, and collected for years and never wanted to sell a thing, until Mike came a knocking lol just lived 4 blocks away from him. Always loved to hear his stories about car collecting. Thank you for making this video. !
Hello from Pa.i enjoyed seeing the cars in this video at this auction. Thanks for showing us these items.Ron
I was adopted along with my twin sister, and I used to go to auctions with my dad, learned a lot from him. Miss the guy.
What a collection! Lifetime of accumulating! Thanks for sharing with us.
This is pretty amazing considering that 35 to 40 years ago wasn’t scrap so high that everybody just cleaned everything up amazing to see one left
@Ronald-y3p Lots of stuff for scrapped years ago but fortunately not all of it.
That Diamond T is a sharp truck.
quite the collection..happy bday btw..lots of dreams waiting for those who purchased those old trucks..one thing i find interesting is the person collecting these vehicles.. he didn't discriminate..he grabbed a little bit of everything
Wow! Lots of good stuff right there. Such a shame so much has wasted away.
Happy 50th Birthday! Enjoy.
Great video, thanks for info on vehicles and what it sold for!!!👍
THANKS FOR SHARING HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEER FROM BRAZIL
Happy birthday and thanks for the walkthrough. I wish I could get to some of these auctions. Thanks for sharing. I like the IH hub caps you got. Those are for a 1/2 ton, if you come across a 3/4 ton set I would be interested!
Great walk about. Love those 1st gen cummins.Great Video as per usual.I love your Auction & Swap meet coverage. Good Job!
OUTSTANDING VIDIO
Great episode.
Good job! I'm glad to see that stuff is still around. Hope U had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! Thanks for the video.
Great video😮
Some great old items as it should be moved on enjoyed😊
Thank you😮
I see this auction previewed on another channel BUT they didn't do nearly the kind of great recording and camera coverage as Dolloff. Over the last 2 years i've been going heavy into vehicle/parts auction videos and i honestly can say that this channel is thee best of all of them. People think that swinging a camera around in a 360 degree radius is making a video with zero commentary and not providing some form of prices. I thank the Dolloff family and team for putting all this work in to make these high quality videos. I personally tell everyone i know to subscribe and watch all their videos. 😀
@@klwthe3rd thank you! I try to make it interesting and informative. We have lots of cool stuff planned for this coming season when the snow melts off out here.
@@DolloffAntiques You wouldn't have any of those awesome T-shirts left so i could wear one when i go out to flea markets?
It's been awhile since I was 50. Hope you had a Happy Birthday! And thanks for sharing this video always nice to see that there's still old cars around to be found ? 45:33
Wow, that's incredible
I really enjoyed all your videos. Thanks so much for sharing! I know it must have been really cold.
Happy Birthday, I liked seeing the old Pintos , Back in the 70s I changed alot of overhead cams on those little 4 cyls and a zillion gas tank recalls when i worked at a Ford dealer. I already claimed a shirt from your other video Thanks
@Phil197 good deal! We have been shipping shirts from last video the last couple days
It's kewl to hear from someone who was a Ford Tech back then who actually worked on Pintos. I loved them too. I particularlly like the later models from 1977-1980 myself.
@@klwthe3rd Yea they were every where back then , but like the corvair the pinto got a bad rap, they really were not to bad to work on.
@ Agreed. What was your favorite year to own or work on?
@@klwthe3rd Never owned one myself , I worked at the dealer from 1977 to 1981, we also sold the mercury version
I am surprised the body's look so well no rust holes, That makes a lot of difference when restoring.
@robertjones7792 yup the lack of rust makes a big difference in value for that reason
Happy birthday old man ha ha I'm still older but enjoy life have a great birthday God Bless
Good videos are vary interesting thanks
Enjoyed your video watch all your videos. This property sure had a lot of stuff, Hershey guys would have been in love with a lot of this stuff. Watching from Toms River, NJ

Check in the mail now send all the trucks😂
I collect pedal tractors and farm toys some I paid too much for but others I break even so it all equals out good luck and happy birthday
Loved the green gmc. Late 60s. 4 headlights, bet it had. A 671 detroit
I do not know if you enjoy a long comment or not but if your offended by my doing so, let me know. I am a seventy five year old man who knows of a lot of old stuff like sold here. My nurse who does my Lymphoma wraps... not a cancer but my information on medical I constantly miss correct spelling or how its called. Okay, I do not know how to send a video of this rig running and driving. What makes it mostly of high value is watching Dennis Collins talking with a person up in minnesota who collects old broncos. This has a low number color, engine and transmission. All factory and not modified in any way. 1984 bronco, 351 W. four speed, four wheel drive with almost zero rust. She doesn't want it as it belonged to a guy she married and then he committed suicide. It just brings bad memories. According to that collector, upwards of fifty thousand dollars. I know stuff is what people will pay on any given time and day but its a seriously nice rig, and I do have a video on my phone that shows it running and driving in their yard. I do not know how to send these kind of videos but since she sent it to me, would be able to do a good video of it. I do not want her to have a tire kicker or idiot who just says... lady, I will only pay a thousand dollars since anything that runs today seems to pull a fair amount of money. I know another guy who has a large large collection of internationals and has a beautiful diamond t truck... no engine but cab and chassis is oddly enough perfect and not sure if a repaint or just that nice. He has rigs from the twenties all up to eighties... a wealthy man who is older than me... around 81 or more. I have over the years owned a good many rigs like these sold and did give my grandson a few old trucks... not sure if he has them as we haven't seen or talked in years. Long story short .. he did a lot of drugs years ago, and then, lets just leave it at that. I am sure that we can talk or something but putting a phone number here is not a good idea. I also am not interested in other people contacting me on this stuff as its not my thing. I used to have a mechanics repair business and so gathered a lot of stuff that at the time was not a valuable thing... times have changed but for me, not a money thing either... just wanted that first rig to go to a good home and her get paid something close to what its worth. Biggest problem is I live in wasilla alaska. Not a in your back yard place thing.
So appreciative you described different recognizing features on diff. years.
Example: 56 truck the windshield curved around the side.
Plus also love prices as you walk through (great teamwork)
Thanks for ruffing the cold too .
Great Video. I never find sales like that around here!

@@DolloffAntiques Yeah Happy Birthday sir!
I live next town over. All I won was $16 worth of lights
Why do Americans collect so much junk, just because you have space why fill it with junk. The cost of restoring these vehicles, out strips any re selling value.
I subscribed do i get a t shirt
