Hi Anna i have indoor plants and outdoor plants both indoors in resin planters with no drainage holes i find this is not a problem at all.
I've one cyclame, never watered it, never taked care of it, since 25 years! And of course i've never changed the soil.
Do you grow it in a pot or in the garden?

You mentioned this is plant grows tbrough the winter. Does that mean it can't grow in the summer if you control the temperature? How long is it's dormant period?
Usually all plants having a bulb, a tuber or a rhizome need a dormancy period. Theoretically, of course, it's possible to control the temperature, light and grow the plant, but dormancy is very important for the proper development of the plant, it's growth and blooming. :) 🌸

Hi. Thanks. Maybe you can find online sellers, but these plants need cooler temperatures.
The ac vent is blowing on it. Only window in my living room. It gets light sun. I water it when my finger in dirt is dry. Oh! So it's unhappy with heat blowing on it?
You can decide for yourself. Maybe with cooler temperatures it will be growing even better and the flowers will stay longer. But you know better

It's possible, but it will not grow properly and will eventually stop blooming. It will be weak and will not bloom.
if you plant them from seed will they produce tube later?

These Are so hard to care for atleast for me, i find Hardy Cyclamen way easier to keep. Coum and hederifolium. Good video tho 👌

@@AnnasViolets most of Them is Hardy down to - 10c but coum and hederifolium down to around - 20c if they Are in a shelder spot or greenhouse, got most of mine in pots. Already got seedlings on the way as well. U should Def give Them a go if u live in a cold area.
