We watched the final! Congratulations on 39 series, which for me was the best! I liked the idea that to defeat the evil in yourself you have to accept it! This idea of choice is unique and very philosophical! I'm glad that the scenarios are developing in the right direction! For me, the drama will remain in my memory with several perfect scenes: the scene with the ravens and the conducting, the scene where the witch chose revenge over love, and the scene where Tantai Jin accepted to be a Devil God but somehow changed him that way! Congratulations to the entire team!❤
In the novel , it's happy ending . But in the drama , it's so sad . I don't understand why do the production team change into sad ending . They should respect the author .
In the book, Tantai Jin got reincarnated again. His daughter looked for him in the human world but it was his wife, Su Su who found him while she was looking for their child. It was only mentioned in the film but not included in the series. Would have preferred it if they had included this in the scene.

What a finale. I love this drama so much. But i wish we would get to know what happened to Mo Nv and Jiwu. They deserve a little happiness. I am sad that this story has come to an end. But i will rewatch it. MANY TIMES
I am looking for the happy ending ; please do the ep.41 to make me clear the end. Yunxi and Lulu, both of them are great actor , their felling and eye contact are really good, it was touching me.

Too hasty, lacks good explanation for the viewers. It's honestly not enough, especially for the ones who don't understand that Tantai Jin's primordial spirit is in the heart guarding scale. It was a very bad ending for Pian Ran and Ye Qingyu. They didn't even show a good ending for them, just Qingyu becoming the emperor of the Great Jin, and him using all of his cultivation to save the kingdom in the end. Too bad the episodes were greatly lessened. JIWU, didn't even have enough grasp on his memories, just bits of them. My my my

Good thing i ddnt make any subscription...i jst feel disappointed for not giving a happy ending for Tantai Jin and no revealation of his sacrifice. He couldnt meet his own daughter. Although in the novel its a happy ending but here was not. The story of Jiwu & Mo Nv was not even told. I hpe the producer and the writer think of making season 2 if this drama where some if the cast will be given the side of their story and for Tantai Jin to reincarnate/reborn to meet his own family

I was hooked on in the beginning because it had a strong start. But this is how Chinese dramas usually are. They start out strong and end weak. I thought the filming towards the end got boring af. Literally skipped thru it. And then i dont know why chinese people loves the fact of spitting out blood but come on, if you're spitting out blood constantly, you'd probably be dead. anyways. rating this a 7/10. it was good but it wasnt amazing. But is it just me orrr the makeup on the main lead is just too much?? Like his lips are so darn red! i mean i know theyre suppose to make him look like a devil god but still, why yall gotta go so heavy on the makeup? Some scenes where he is pale af with bright ass red lips is just.... urgh, dont get me wrong he still looks good, but just wish they tone down this makeup a bit. it's way too noticeable.
