@@drwheycooler8423 lol. Antennas are on the headache rack per customer request. They already had them there on their other truck so we didn't have to drill holes. Fine for receive only radios though. They are talking their ass off. Haha
Is there a reason they use 9 or 10 Motorola Radios vs 9 or 10 scanners. I understand the multiple to avoid missing something but if they replaced each radio with a scanner it would be more cost effective.

Not really. The cost of new scanners that are capable of p25 are the same or higher than used motorola radios. And they dont work half as good.
