Well done helping out the lady and her son. More people should do this. It's amazing how every little bit helps the less fortunate and helps us too by creating good karma in the world. PS nice little cafe too and beautiful family blessings 🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely love this story. To see you make this amount of change to two people is not only massively inspiring, but very, very contagious, in making us ALL see how much change we can make in anyone's life who is doing it tough. I know personally, I always make an effort to give what I can when I come across a situation like this, and my only ask of them is 'to pay it forward'. Nothing else. Well done Team Bamboo! I love our family and seeing what we can all do together. Much love to you too, mate.
You have a very kind soul Ryan! The world needs more people like you! Thanks for being you & for sharing your wonderful life with us! Hugo is more & more adorable each day & cannot wait to see your next video 😊
ryan how beautiful u are for doing this... thank god they found you! and thank you for using the power of youtube and your humbleness to help them! love prevails 🙏
That was so great, Ryan. Not only did you manage to raise the needed money from all those very caring and kind viewers in such a short time, but you personally managed and helped her and her son set their place. Thank you so much to all kind viewers and to you, Ryan - so amazing.
I know a lady who (a long time ago) worked for a major child charity. Doesnt serve any purpose to name it! She quit her job when she was invited on a trip where all the "executives" flew business to a holiday destination so they could get together and discuss the Christmas card designs..😬 😮😮 I love this sort of direct charity where everything is directly helping people in need... Maybe she will build a successful business and I think this leg up will be remembered and paid on in the future. Brilliant work... 👍👍
So great to see this. With so many reports of foreigners not being welcome, this is how we can show our gratitude for being able to visit/live in places likje this.
Hi Ryan, I saw this video just after you dropped it, and was delighted to see the reaction of yourself, and the people who donated. I spend a bit of time in Thailand myself. My wife is Thai, I rent a small house in Phetchabun and will be spending more time in Thailand over this coming year. I have seen first hand in the three months that I spent over there in 2019, the amount of poverty and unfortunate circumstances of the Thai people who are such kind, loving and friendly people. I am heading over to Uganda in October to try and start an orphanage, and I just wanted to let you know if you ever come across situations like that again with noon and sihan I would be happy to help out in any way possible. Well done mate, glad to see there are still some people like yourself who care…!!!
❤✨Beautiful cafe! Otis even has your Northern accent when he speaks English. He is so cute. My Mums from Derbyshire. Wishing you all a Beautiful week! Namaste! ❤️🙏🏼
Sponsor a child in his/her education. This is another way to help. Visit the family each time you visit Thailand to make sure the assistance is made to good use. I am from Singapore and I have sponsor a village boy’s education from secondary to University in Thailand…. Singapore is too expensive.
this filled me hippy heart with happiness!.. the whole vlog.. that cafe is totally amazing.. what a beautiful space to go to.. would love to visit it myself! .. so happy the mum and her son are settled.. makes me happy to see.. thank you for being you and love to Damo Otis and baby Hugo.. hope he's recovered fully🙏🥰 thanks for brightening my day.. 💜🦋🥀☮️ peace✌🏼😎
I've been sponsoring a young boy in Chiang Rai at the SOS Children's Village for the last 4 years. He is 14 years old now and will hopefully be educated and able to move on in a few years, either into further education or work.
SOS children is one of the organisations I donated to. Sadly I can't make the longer term commitment to "adopt" , sometimes at the end of the month we still scraping, depending on how the month goes. I surely hope to be able to support in the future long term. For now.. Just when and we're we can. Beggars I seldom give money, but if they look like they really are in need, I offer then food. Half of the time they decline😂
So kind of you to help this lady and her son a big thank you who made it possible. Glad to see baby Hugo now fit and well again I'm taking centre Stage in your blog. Always interesting and entertaining
Baby Hugo is contemplating the camera as you talk about him in the car. So wondrous the whole world around us. The young ones see the magic of it all Great outing. Another meaningful vlog . Peace and Love
Great vlog guys. one of the best (and I'm proud to say I have been lucky to have watched them all). Otis is a very, very sweet boy and Damo defies aging and gets more beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I would like to do the same one day when things get a little better at home and I can afford to travel again..... I also did a good deed today by helping a guy from Nepal who lives and works in England with a lift to the ATM and market so he could buy a bike for his daughter after randomly bumping into him .... We managed to make it to the ATM and back to the market before the bike was sold ... Happy days !!! Sending some love to you and the family ❤❤ keep up the good work and thanks for all your time making videos for us all to watch your an absolute legend ❤️❤️❤️
Great story Ryan and Damo. I hope that young lady and her son can now make a good life for themselves thanks to the generosity of others. Over the last 10 years I have always used government hospitals and found them to be excellent. They may be a lot more crowded than UK hospitals and much less privacy, but the standard of medical care is, in my experience first class. The doctors all speak good English as do many of the nurses, those that cannot are always anxious to learn. Hugo is looking great and growing so quickly, developing his own character. Otis always enjoys new adventures and is so excited to explore. Glad the new car is a success, and that Damo has given it her seal of approval. God bless you all, always 😀❤🙏
This despicable problem of homelessness and hunger exist Worldwide with famine currently in….. What countries are currently in a famine? The Sahel sits just below the Sahara Desert and has become one of the world's worst hunger emergencies. Around 13 million people are projected to be experiencing crisis levels of hunger across five Sahelian countries: Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger. We need to practice our compassion and humanity beginning in our neighborhood and then beyond. Freely receive freely give.
Cheers. I e been watching for a while but never got round to subscribing, you know how it is😂. By the way, I’m another northern lad living abroad, China for 10 years.
Just curious: you say that Damo doesn't get free care in the hospital?? Im a bit confused. To my knowledge all Thai have basic free healthcare. Sadly anything special like a new joint, and more serious care (what isnt life threatening) ... You need to pay yourself. Insurance is a good idea especially for anything different then basic care.
Yeah for the basic but not the private room etc, kids and elderly will get a private room from how i understand it, yeah i think for anything major the insurance is a must for the private hospital

Interesting. First 4 minutes: gut-wrenching and heart-stabbing - poverty the world over most everywhere, despite governments' promises and attempts to solve and end poverty perennially. Shameful, yet continues, ad infinitum. Rest of video's 12 minutes: Damo, radiant as ever; Otis, a charmer for sure; and Hugo, overwhelmed from life itself, in a world mysterious and ever-changing. And, of course, Ryan, the Guru, so lucky, so fortunate.
