The Golden Shine of The Supremes shines down on us again and this from the very beginning / origin of this women's group, listen to the simple music in the background, nothing difficult about it, nothing electronic tricks etc. just real musicians, chapeau! !!, I was allowed to experience it all as a barely 7-year-old boy at the time and it still remains the most beautiful two decades of my life and those are the sixties ('60s) and seventies ('70s), my goodness what would I do? would love to do these two again!!!!! However, she was the most professional of the group, she was the sweetheart, outdone only by Diana Ross' inimitable real-life Betty Boop-like affectations, and when the group split up she became the keeper of the group's history. I liked the fact that these were all songs that were recorded with the original lineup....and that Florence and Mary are heard with at least one lead song. That is Florence's voice on Buttered Popcorn and Who's Loving You. Maybe Motown is FINALLY able to understand that they were all loved and that everyone was NOT only interested in just Diana. The sum of its parts was more important than any one individual. The group may have been even MORE successful if this were understood in those days when they had the original lineup.
