I just started playing on Atlantiss TBC WoW - Netherwing Realm, had never played Classic or TBC, I began in wotlk, damn it's grindy, but I feel like I missed out on not playing the real WoW experience earlier.

The difference between Classic and retail is that Classic gives you the opportunity to make your own choices at max level, rather than forcefeeding shit ones down your throat. Classic isn't perfect, but it's a step in the right direction if WoW wants to be a popular game again.
The DM "argument" [2. General - Westfall] [Derp1]: DPS LFG DM [2. General - Westfall] [Derp2]: nob, back in my days, we used to call Dire Maul DM ,and VC Deadmines. Yeah, like people grouping for Dire Maul on Westfall.
Actual resource consumption(mana/rage etc), need for CC again and careful gameplay by increasing mob hp and damage, talent trees, downranking spells, swingtimers, weapon speeds, epic items actually being hard to come by, mob tagging, less self healing on every class(which makes you need to group and sometimes stop to get a breather), weapon skills, hitcaps, fewer mounts but more special and rare... need I go on? Just everything that they've removed through the years that made the game feel like an RPG. Not this Action Diablo game they're trying to push nowdays.

He's mained a warrior for over a decade. He has no idea what Thunderclap does, argues about it's damage. But it's not a damage ability. It's an AoE ranged threat generator that also reduces all incoming damage because of the debuff it applies, a debuff that stacks with DemoShout....... In a version of WoW that has mana bars that actually mean something, not using both is a dick move to your group.
