Video starts at 2:45 Long intro to set up armor, meals and weapons. What can I say? It was my first ever video. I appreciate all the positive feedback. I may remake this with my new mic one day
glad there's someone else that noticed that riding a lynel won't destroy your weapon :) I like doing this method exactly myself. but with 114 dmg royal guards' claymore
Relyea Tip: when he does the club spin thing, you can crouch under him and it won’t do any damage to you. Also, I like your strategy fighting these guys.
"backflip for the win" you know u can just crouch and walk under it and itll miss+spam the attack if u stay there for a bit. u can also attack it towards the end of the attack to bait another spin and chip damage. edit: NVM, just...ignore that i said this XD the stasis during overhead charge and slow-mo arrows after he bucks u off was nice info tho edit2: i guess the only part that i can add is that his critical hit sweet spot is the part were his face touches his beard on the chin, not his head, the back of the head works tho. anything from the nose up just wont count as a crit.
Actually the updraft is uselfull when in the air before the lynel pulls out the bow go in slow motion and hit the lynel on its face with your arrows but when its far away i dont recommend using the updraft
There you go. It would be useful if your quick. I found that in general you want to stay close enough and on the ground so that the Lynel never pulls out his bow.
XxGalaxyGamerZxX //Gaming I am allways using the updraft for the slow motion. Even when it is a bit far away. I shoot at him several times in the face before it can draw his bow resulting it to be stunned.
When the Lynel does his spin attack you can avoid this by crouching down and positioning link directly below him so you are underneath the Lynel, therefore you don't have to run, backflip, or dodge to escape his attack he just spins around right above you.
I wouldn't have changed to that at 5:38. The lynel crusher does about 316 in a flurry rush. Being a single handed weapon, the powered up master sword would have done 480.
I had so much trouble with this because it seemed counter-intuitive to me. I kept trying to dodge sideways (because he was charging) rather than backflip.
Not only that, all lynels do this attacks, but if they are very colse its hardes to do the backflip and flurry rush, always try to be a little far and walk backwards because the flurry attack only works if you dodge the weapon and not his arm or something else than the weapon, I found out this by myself!
Holy shit dude, so many crushers! I love fighting silver lynels, but I never dare take on a crusher lynel. I'll give it a shot after I finish your video!
Dodging the smash and charge attacks. I handle broadswords just fine, spears are tricky but doable, something about the claymores though. I need more practice with the smash flurry timing, but the video helped me get a start.
Thanks for the tips bro! I always got hit by the AOE smash attack and I couldn't figure out what the heck I was doing wrong but after seeing your video, even Crusher Lynels were as easy as the Spear ones, so thanks a lot again!!
Thanks for checking out the video. This is the guide I wanted on how to fight Lynels when I first started playing but couldn’t find one. Once you know all the moves your set
Lynels are the worst! I'm glad your video came up because I have been getting destroyed by the one one in Zoras domain. I just didn't know what to expect. Ended up hiding and walking around to get all the electric arrows. But tonight I will have my revenge!!
No worries man. I take it you figured that out over time. I'm fairly new to the game I only got it 3 weeks ago. So I'm sorry for replying really late to an older video. Great video though, I enjoyed it and found it useful. I did wonder why you can't dodge his attack when the club is raised above his head so thanks to your vid I now use my shield to parry his attack instead of trying to dodge. Anyway thanks again man.
I'm glad for the reply! Most people find this video first for how to fight a Lynel and it's a good tip if anybody in the comments. If you find any other cool tips, even non Lynel related please share. I might turn it into a video eventually
this was super helpful! I've been struggling with these guys since release and I'm getting back into the game after a year. it was also helpful to be told to just not bother parrying/flurry rushing that slam attack lol
Also, you can shoot the lynel’s face with your arrows when they are about to slam the crusher on the ground, the wind going round them. I use this to get a critical hit and mount his back.
2:30 Mate you CLEARLY don't know what you're doing. Going left for the redundant Lynel weapons when the only weapon you need is just to the right of the Master Sword. ;)
I mean while you are right about the master sword the whole point of BOTW is to explore and collect, it's a good idea to have other weapons on hand incase the master sword runs out of energy, and the master sword only does 30dmg to low level monsters so having better weapons on hand (ie savage lynel sword) just makes the game easier and more enjoyable. Thank you for posting this. I’ve been looking for a video specifically about crusher wielding Lynels, because their attack patterns and techniques are unique.
with the "Primal yell" you can parry his big fiery attack then shoot his head when his crusher is stuck to the ground. with the "Fireball" You can shoot his head before he attacks (When he charges his fire). Then you can take a couple hits and mount him.
I found your channel only around a week ago, (since I just got hollow knight and your guides have been AMAZING) and I had no idea u made Breath of The Wild vids. This is so cool.
This helped so much when I was fighting one of the Hebra Lynels with a Savage Lynel Crusher and I only had 3 hearts, no dishes, and my Mipha's Grace wasn't ready
Need more practice fighting them in the cold regions - I always get my @$$ handed to me, even with strong weapons and an attack food/elixir. Just tried to fight the lynel in the Gerudo Highlands and used up all my fairies and Mipha's Grace. That's what brought me here, hoping to find more insight about fighting cold climate lynels. (Yeah, I know this game is like 4 years old now - only got a Switch recently, and this is my favorite game of all time {so far}.)
Also, I can never get the "A" indicator saying I can mount the lynel. Am I standing in the wrong place or what? Usually standing at his side or haunches.
I just bashed my head against one of these guys for the past half hour, and during the successful run I kept (there was one other one where I performed absolutely horrendously and refused to let myself accept that) I ended up Shield Parrying him by accident! Thanks for the video - next time I run into a Lynel Crusher I'll feel more confident trying to make my lucky fumble happen deliberately. :)
I'm glad you found it helpful. This was one of my first videos where the intro was way to long audio was bad and I didn't know how to render correctly. The information is still pretty good and I'm glad I was able to help! Let me know if there are any other parts of the game that you have having a tough time with
3:23 If you backflip with good timing, you can actually flurry rush that attack. Doesn't hurt your shield, lets you get more hits in, and if you miss the flurry rush, you still jump over the crusher.
Also if your insisting on telling people to learn how to deflect attacks with their sheild, just tell them to do that to the lynels fire dome attack and his fire breath. If you time it correctly, you can deflect it and get some extra damage. You can also deflect his fire breath too, you just have to wait till each fire ball gets close to you and pary, and if you pary it at point blank range, it staggers them.
That’s a great tip about parrying at point blank range! I never tried. This was one of my first videos and I missed a couple things. If I miss anything else please let me know.
Think you missed one option: when the Lynel puts its weapon away and crouches down to charge at you, if you're locked on it then it's face is always in the same area in relation to its body. You can interrupt its charge and stun it with an arrow to the face if you shoot it as it comes in a straight line at you, thought this takes some practice.
Thank you this was super helpful!! The whole game I have been avoiding these guys cuz they’ve been kicking my ass so hard. And now I just killed my first one!
Hi Relyea ! Thanks for helpful video. It should feel cool to know some of us are using your suggestions in 2020 and playing botw for the 1st time. This smasher Lynel makes me want to run away & hide. I’m “Skerd “ , but I will be practicing & listening to your vid till I’m confident & can finally show off some Lynel crushers in my own weapons stash. Thx tons !
Dude, I go to look up the timing for dodging lynel attacks, and the first video that pops up is from Relyea?! And it's his first upload ever? Bruh. I didn't even know he played BOTW. I only know him for his hollow knight vids. This made my day. Lol.

When he runs around and swings his crusher you can backflip and get a flurry rush and when you’re mounted on the Lynel you can switch to your strongest weapon and it won’t lose durability
During the lynel spin attack. You can crouch under the lynel without getting hit. You may get hit the first several times you try it until you get the positioning down.
By the way, according to some internal data investigations made by people on Reddit, Attack Buffs from the Barbarian Set does not stack with Attack Buffs from food/elixirs. You can only have 3 tiers at most from a combination of the two. Level one buff does an increase of 15%, Level two buff does 30%, and Level three buff does 50%. The best recommendation for Lynel fights is full Barbarian Set (preferably upgraded) and a tier 3 defense buff from food/elixirs.
You are correct. 50% buff from three attack up OR barbarian armor. I did another video explaining this at a later time. I didn’t realize when I made this video.
i find it ironic how crusher lynels can be the quickest to kill, but are easily the most dangerous of the three because of their wide variety of attacks, high punish game and crushers being the strongest weapons. swords can also be a bit tricky, but are the easiest to mount without bows because their charging slash also makes them vulnerable to mounting and even more time than their head charge.
Yep! And what's nice is it doesn't take any time to change weapons. I thought I added that but in there on the first or second mount but maybe not. This was my first ever video. 😁
Awesome video I kept farming 1 lynel for a savage lynel crusher and I would never find lynels other than that one thanks for showing me lynel crusher location already know good ways to take one out becuase of hyrule dude also a better name than "club smash" is "club beatdown"
Khaled Plays Khaled Plays I'm thinking of doing a video that goes over all the Lynel locations and a good farming route. Some are easier to get to than others. Hyrule dude has some of the best how to videos for sure! Have you started playing in master mode already?
Ohh no! you should really thing about it. The master mode adds quite a bit of game. It is much harder than I thought it would be. I will be starting to play the master mode soon I think.
Paragliding on the updraft after it sets a fire always worked well for me, if you time it right, it will be facing you and you can hit it in the face with an arrow. No arrow fight. The arrow fight only happens when you paraglide as it is looking away from you
When the Lynel does the direct charge on all 6 limbs, he goes into stun mode for a second after the attack, and you can mount him then. When he charges I run to the side and then run parallel to him so I can get on his back before he stands back up.
Just to let everyone know, YES!! the lynel crushers spin attack can be parryied, you just need to wait for the crusher to hit your shield a little late then parry, pay attention to where you are because the attack comes early from behind but late if your in front of it
So, there is actually one attack animation that you missed, and it happens rarely under certain circumstances, but it does happen. The Savage Slam Shockwave. (Made the name up) Spear lynels aren't the only ones to do do a jumping slam shockwave. They all do it. Crushers are by far the absolute worst though because when they land the shockwave is MASSIVE!! I'm talking WOOOOOOOOM!!! Typically, if they run uphill on some uneven terrain, you can trigger this. I also learned that the higher the leap up and the further the descent, the bigger the shockwave. Pretty much like how Link's shockwaves work if you fly upon an updraft. Base shockwave ranges are small(Spear) Medium(sword) Ridiculous(Crusher)
It took a bit to get all the animations and every counter. But once you have this down, Lynels are super easy. Let me know if there are any other enemies I should do this for
Actually, you most definitely can jump dodge those crusher swing charges by simply doing a back flip type dodge. It's really easy to flurry rush off of those charges once you get the timing down. It most definitely works and works every time if you're good.
Thank you sooooooooooooooo much I beat my first savage lynal crusher lynal thanks to you when I saturated the battle I was going to use the rivals fury to get higher than I remberd that might make him pull out his bow thank you soo much I liked and subbed
super helpful video thank you!! i'm playing on master mode and that dang great plateau lynel is my worst enemy... i never thought to fire at them while hopping off their back! also link's little shorts are definitely silly looking- but i love them >:3c
When you mount a Lynel, attacks won't drain durability. Take advantage of this by using a strong weapon you want to save the durability on (like those purple Royal Guard weapons)
you naming the attacks reminds of a hollow knight youtuber and i was watching his brooding mawlek guide and the whole time he was like this is the spin attack this is the vomit attack this is the big spit his vid was so confusing
I learned to flurry rush sword and spear lynels but these crushers with the area damage gave me alot of trouble I also mounted a red lynel crusher on my wall because i know those things get exctinct. Its a nice decoration
I always do Revali's Gale and then pummel its face with Bomb Arrows with a Five Shot bow. Then I just repeat the process and try to get a few weapon swings in occasionally.
@@RelyeaGaming yeah, location for the boots is in gerudo town if you don't know! (Outside is a man running around and wants a girls attention, dress up as one and talk to him, he'll give you a quest and the boots, if you did the quest then you'll lose the boots, get it back by picturing the sword of the statue it lost and becareful of the lynel
this is great... although, i do gotta say, fireballs can be parried... although, it doesn't reflect, it only stops them from damaging you, but they are pretty easy to parry once you get the hang of it.... also, from experience, never actually backflip on any kind of swing attack, it leaves your hitbox vulnerable.... again, parry... parry that swing, it'll stun him for a second, and yeah.... basically, parry is a go to when you finally get the timing... just Remember to practice and you might die alot but eventually you'll get the hang of a good parry
I agree that parry is the main way to go. My main goal was to show people who were having a tough time with Lynels that they have options. I remember I was super intimidated with using the parry when I first started. Not sure why, I thought it was only for the pros. It's a lot easier to do that I originally thought. Let me know if you have any more ideas that I should turn into videos. You are the best!
The set of the wild has shorts like that because its in the fallen timeline and a nod to the original (8 bit Link) Legend of Zelda Tunic. I actually like it, its classic and dope looking.
What I did was just Stasis the lynel when it looks like you can shoot it with a arrow to stun the lynel, pull out your best weapon with maybe better armor and you can mount the lynel and 4-5 hits.
You can also get a lot more than 3 headshots when slo mo dismounting if u have the 3 full stamina bars. U should be able to get 6 or 7 shots in if you're good.
Hello! I'm 4 years late, I doubt you'll see this comment, and you probably have improved a lot since this video. But nonetheless, I think that your dialogue is too rushed. there aren't many pauses between your speech and it doesn't sound right. Other than that I found this video really helpful!
Super late to the video and I’ve killed dozens of silver Lynels but I’ve always taken a ton of damage, the one attack I just can’t seem to deal with is the overhead club attack. The shockwave always knocks me back when I try to dodge, I’ve only ever successfully dodged once. Thing is I’m trying to kill the Lynel without using runes (which I don’t anyways) but I also want to not lose any hearts. I tried running out of the way, but that didn’t seem to work either. Doubt anyone else will be late enough to see this but if anyone does I need advice for this one move. Edit: I’ve never been able to parry it either
If you can’t parry or use a rune you need to be able to jump out of the way at the perfect time or hit it with a head shot using your bow. Those are your only other options
Relyea I managed to dodge but I nearly died several times, I’m trying to kill it with no runes or champion abilities and no damage. Dodging some other attacks are difficult as well because the crusher has an irritatingly larger hitting range because it’s huge, trying to dodge like I would against a lynel with a sword doesn’t always work either because of the larger range. Thanks for the tip, I’m going to keep trying.
It's actually a lot better to just stay back when he's attacking as that's the best time to get easy headshots on him, and then you can remount him after a headshot.
Bro why dont u do the silver lynel at second gatehouse in hyrule castle I love fighting lynels but the damn skulls contantly dropping from the malice keep distracting link and the focus of his shields Any way to get them out of the picture?

Ayyy HD.
If you are on the ground before fighting a lynel and I can't stress this enough: CLOSE YOUR DISTANCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
Actually the updraft is uselfull when in the air before the lynel pulls out the bow go in slow motion and hit the lynel on its face with your arrows but when its far away i dont recommend using the updraft

I honestly didn't know that was an option at the time. Thanks for the bonus tip!
This also works on sword lynels for most of their attacks

I think he was only pointing it out
I had to use over 10 mushroom skewers when I first came across one holding the Lynel Crusher.
Haha. But you did it!
You can also backflip when he comes running and swings his crusher instead of parrying. Then you can get a few more hits
Thanks for sharing the tip. I totally missed it in this video. Hopefully your comment helps someone who needs it
I do that too and sometimes get a flurry 3 or 4 times
I had so much trouble with this because it seemed counter-intuitive to me. I kept trying to dodge sideways (because he was charging) rather than backflip.
i keep messing that up, it's like there's a different window than with the sword lynels
Not only that, all lynels do this attacks, but if they are very colse its hardes to do the backflip and flurry rush, always try to be a little far and walk backwards because the flurry attack only works if you dodge the weapon and not his arm or something else than the weapon, I found out this by myself!

That would be interesting. I may have to try that out!

Hope this helps!
Cmon Relyea! Now you gotta beat the plateau lynel on master mode!!!!
I know! It's really hard doing it while live and worried about chat and with weak weapons. Will have to try again eventually
Relyea Yep, and after you beat the one on the plateau, go for a speed run killing ALL the lynels ;)
That first Lynel is hard enough! Would be easier with better weapons and a lv 2 stasis
Yes its hard all right. I died 7 times before killing it yesterday.
AlvinGreat-Do Stuff YT Hi
Thanks, I've been finally able to defeat white Lynel
When he runs around and swings his crusher you can backflip and get a flurry rush and when you’re mounted on the Lynel you can switch to your strongest weapon and it won’t lose durability
During the lynel spin attack. You can crouch under the lynel without getting hit. You may get hit the first several times you try it until you get the positioning down.
Thanks now im ready to get some lynel crushers
Get em! Good luck my friend
Thanks this helped a lot
i find it ironic how crusher lynels can be the quickest to kill, but are easily the most dangerous of the three because of their wide variety of attacks, high punish game and crushers being the strongest weapons. swords can also be a bit tricky, but are the easiest to mount without bows because their charging slash also makes them vulnerable to mounting and even more time than their head charge.
Hell yea Relyea
Thank you. That’s actually a nickname for me
There are some things u said indirectly but we can : farm lynels , farm spirit dragons, do even tide island
Every single time you mount the lynel, u can change ur weapon during th animation of u mounting it.
Yep! And what's nice is it doesn't take any time to change weapons. I thought I added that but in there on the first or second mount but maybe not. This was my first ever video. 😁
And it also doesn't use durability
That is correct. I must have forgot to add that in there 😅
10 out of 10 vid bruh
I feel like the info is great but the video and audio quality was lacking. I think this was my first ever video
First person who's said the short suck. Completely agree, they're probably short just to distinguish them from the hylian trousers.
There are games where link wears the shorts. Young link in OoT and at least 2-3 other games. There is s reason for it, I'm just not a fan
I think if the tunic of the wild was short-sleeved it'd be ok, but long sleeves with shorts is like socks with sandals for me.
YES!! That's what I'm talking about. You get it
Awesome video I kept farming 1 lynel for a savage lynel crusher and I would never find lynels other than that one thanks for showing me lynel crusher location already know good ways to take one out becuase of hyrule dude also a better name than "club smash" is "club beatdown"
Khaled Plays Khaled Plays I'm thinking of doing a video that goes over all the Lynel locations and a good farming route. Some are easier to get to than others.
Hyrule dude has some of the best how to videos for sure!
Have you started playing in master mode already?
Relyea I didn't get DLC 1 ;-; or 2
Ohh no! you should really thing about it.
When he charges I run to the side and then run parallel to him so I can get on his back before he stands back up.
thanks!
i haven't fought a lynel with a crusher yet and i just finished my third divine beast
so when i run into one, ill be prepared!
There you go! I also made a video how to fight a lynel with a spear and sword of you ever need it
@@RelyeaGaming the ones with swords and spears I've battled the most and my fights are always super clean.
but thanks for suggesting!
Those are honestly easier. The club ones have a couple attacks that are tough
Just to let everyone know, YES!! the lynel crushers spin attack can be parryied, you just need to wait for the crusher to hit your shield a little late then parry, pay attention to where you are because the attack comes early from behind but late if your in front of it
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing this. I had no idea
Relyea no problem, glad to share it cuz I wanted people to know that there are no attacks that can't be parried from a Lynel
This was so helpful thank you so much! 😊😊
You are very much welcome!
Yess thannks!
I hope this helped. Read the comments for some bonus tips from subs and viewers.
Didn't know you did botw before hollow knight, cool
ONLY HAVE !@ MORE SHRINES GOOD JOB DUDE
Thank you
Awesome video, I killed it first try after I watched.
That is great to hear! I feel like I was able to break down the Lynel fight in a way that nobody else has done. I'm happy to hear this helped you
So, there is actually one attack animation that you missed, and it happens rarely under certain circumstances, but it does happen.
That is great info and first im hearing of this. Thanks for sharing!
This is why I am here. just got hit with it and was all wtf was that. 🤣 Oh well good vid nonetheless.
nice and thanks i beat them every time
It took a bit to get all the animations and every counter. But once you have this down, Lynels are super easy. Let me know if there are any other enemies I should do this for
*activated flurry rush by dodging his vertical swing*
Me: Ha! This is too easy
Also me: _dies while in flurry rush due to crusher's shockwave_
Actually, you most definitely can jump dodge those crusher swing charges by simply doing a back flip type dodge. It's really easy to flurry rush off of those charges once you get the timing down. It most definitely works and works every time if you're good.
I was just sharing what worked or didn’t work for me. It sounds like you know a lot about BotW. You should consider making your own videos
Good vid 👍👍
I’m glad you like it. Thanks for the comment
Thank you sooooooooooooooo much I beat my first savage lynal crusher lynal thanks to you when I saturated the battle I was going to use the rivals fury to get higher than I remberd that might make him pull out his bow thank you soo much I liked and subbed
I am happy to help and thank you for the sub. I hope you like some of the other videos I make as well.
super helpful video thank you!! i'm playing on master mode and that dang great plateau lynel is my worst enemy... i never thought to fire at them while hopping off their back! also link's little shorts are definitely silly looking- but i love them >:3c
I’m glad you found this video helpful. It’s crazy that it’s been well over a year sense I made this and it was one of my first 2-3 videos.
When you mount a Lynel, attacks won't drain durability. Take advantage of this by using a strong weapon you want to save the durability on (like those purple Royal Guard weapons)
You are correct. I added this tip in my other how to fight a Lynel videos and some how managed to miss the tip in this one. Thank you for sharing!
Ok good. I thought I was going crazy haha.
doing a backflip when he charges at you in order to do a flurry attack is way easier then deflecting with a shield in my opinion
You're so right those shorts look so stupid i don't know what Nintendo was thinking
I think link wore shorts in the original Nintendo Game.... but it still looks funny
great video , thanks
Thank you, it was one of my first videos.
you naming the attacks reminds of a hollow knight youtuber and i was watching his brooding mawlek guide and the whole time he was like this is the spin attack this is the vomit attack this is the big spit his vid was so confusing
I learned to flurry rush sword and spear lynels but these crushers with the area damage gave me alot of trouble
I also mounted a red lynel crusher on my wall because i know those things get exctinct. Its a nice decoration
When it does that slam move with the club and creates a shockwave I dont think I can quick dodge that to get the flurry rush
Hopefully one of these options will work for you
I always do Revali's Gale and then pummel its face with Bomb Arrows with a Five Shot bow. Then I just repeat the process and try to get a few weapon swings in occasionally.
If you're fighting a Lynel in the snow, actually just running will be too slow to stay ahead of the fireballs so you'll want to sprint a little there.
Your right! Great tip. The snow Lynels are very annoying
Or use a special snow boots! It helps when you wanna get to somewhere but you're too slow!
Good call
@@RelyeaGaming yeah, location for the boots is in gerudo town if you don't know! (Outside is a man running around and wants a girls attention, dress up as one and talk to him, he'll give you a quest and the boots, if you did the quest then you'll lose the boots, get it back by picturing the sword of the statue it lost and becareful of the lynel
I beat the game with 100% of shrines and s few seeds. I did get the snow boots and then kept them. Have you been playing BotW sense launch?
it realy dousent make sense that the trousers of the wild are shorts when you consider that THE WILD has tall grass and tall grass has ticks
this is great... although, i do gotta say, fireballs can be parried... although, it doesn't reflect, it only stops them from damaging you, but they are pretty easy to parry once you get the hang of it.... also, from experience, never actually backflip on any kind of swing attack, it leaves your hitbox vulnerable.... again, parry... parry that swing, it'll stun him for a second, and yeah.... basically, parry is a go to when you finally get the timing... just Remember to practice and you might die alot but eventually you'll get the hang of a good parry
A better thing to do is crouch under the lynel
For the spin attack but not the charging swing. TBH I didn't know about ducking under the Lynel back then
The set of the wild has shorts like that because its in the fallen timeline and a nod to the original (8 bit Link) Legend of Zelda Tunic. I actually like it, its classic and dope looking.
Really?? I was not a fan of the shorts. I think I just got use to the pants from OoT
It's just a nod to the original, nothing about the timeline.
Thanks
Thank you
Your welcome
These guys are the hardest of all the lynels imo
Thanks for the tips! I’ve played well over 140 hours and done so much in the game...yet I still haven’t beaten a lynel 😪 I’m working on it.. 😂
Dang! That’s a lot of time avoiding Lynels!! With these tips you should be good to go
What I did was just Stasis the lynel when it looks like you can shoot it with a arrow to stun the lynel, pull out your best weapon with maybe better armor and you can mount the lynel and 4-5 hits.
Stun, mount, attack then arrows to the back of he head is the best combo for sure
You can also get a lot more than 3 headshots when slo mo dismounting if u have the 3 full stamina bars. U should be able to get 6 or 7 shots in if you're good.
Most people who need help with lynels don’t have 3 stamina bars
Why are his attacks more effective when he’s downhill of you?
When you are up hill his are of affect attacks when he slams a club on the ground are closer to you. It’s weird, it easier to get hit for some reason
Relyea thank you. I wonder also because it’s more difficult to run away back up the hill
4:29 im trying to master parrying the lynels spin attack most of it's attack is normal
I give up
@@Hakurei_Reimu_lostword u can crouch under the lynel to dodge it
for the charge attack, it works fine to back-flip dodge for a flurry rush
Your right! I missed it in this video 😅.
If you're good at dodging/flurry rushes then you really don't need a shield at all. Flurry rushes are a lot better than shield deflects.
If you’re that good you don’t need this video 😜
With good timing it's possible to parry the explosion of the "primal yell".
Good call. I didnt know that when I made the video
Relyea I’ve also resorted to just running out of the way
It's actually a lot better to just stay back when he's attacking as that's the best time to get easy headshots on him, and then you can remount him after a headshot.
I like showing new players lots of options so they can pick how to fight the lynel that fits their play style
@@RelyeaGaming Right, these are some nice beginner tips. Should help a lot of ppl.
You forgot to mention you can Parry the fireballs with the shield I did it and it worked
It’s possible but the people who are looking up how the beat lynels are not likely to be at that skill level
Bro why dont u do the silver lynel at second gatehouse in hyrule castle
I love fighting lynels but the damn skulls contantly dropping from the malice keep distracting link and the focus of his shields
Any way to get them out of the picture?
I haven’t played in quite a while I’d have to check that out
