Did an factory reset on my Xstream platinum box and now I have no video add on tried looking up every video before there was all kinds of add ons now there is nothing someone please help everything that was already inbox when I bought it is now gone 😭
how about my x96q,it doesnt reset with that way.
I have net2 play, I press the reset button, it goes to that android logo but it doesn't show the wipe factory settings or anything.

Make sure you hold the reset button for few seconds till the reset screen comes up on your screen.

I loged to recovery page but I cant move up or down because it doesn't listen the remote control and it doesn't have a volume button on the device, what to do? please help
What remote do you have? Normal IR or mini keypad.
What do you use yo move to option?
Pointer, using keypad type remote. You can also get pointer on your screen using IR remote by pressing the Pointer button once and then press Up/Down or Right/Left Key
I found the reset button it was inside the spdf hole and wiped the cache and wiped data to factory and still it won't load only the boot logo then turns to black screen :(
Restart your device and clear cache through Android settings and then try again to factory reset your device by following the instructions carefully shown in the video.

Not all reset buttons are where you say - some are in the AV socket.
Yes you need to check yours.
so what do you do if it does not work and its stuck on the logo?
Take off the power adaptor and then do it again
been trying this for days now its just stuck on the logo this does not work for me:( thanks anyway
Unplug the power adapter and short the pins on the Android box. The centre and ground pin , should work
I have a similar box from Entertainment Box and ive been trying to get to the recovery method to wipe my box, but whichever way i try, either by pin hole or in the settings/reset box method, it does nothing. The box skips the recovery menu and boots up as normal. Is there any other way exept by taking the box apart as im not comfortable shorting pins out etc.
I have the same problem did anyone find a way around it?
There is no such reset button or switch in my box.....I also open....pliz tell how can I reboote it.....there r WiFi problem in my Android smart TV box......pliz show how can reboot it without any toothpick method..pliz
There must be a Hard Reset Button located on any one side of your Box. You can also soft reset your Box by going to settings>Backup and Reset.
@@StreamingNerds Thanx....but WiFi and usb port problem not solved with soft reset.....hard reset switch not found within the box....

My Android Box came with the Kodi application already installed....will this erase that Kodi app????
Whatever came installed wont be removed but whatever you downloaded and installed will be removed.
This isn't necessarily true - if the person who supplied the box added Kodi the factory reset will wipe it!
I've factory reset mine using the backup reset option in settings and everything that came preinstalled on the box is still there including kodi

Hey Tim, You can still reset through the Android Settings. Go Into Settings and Try to Find Backup And Reset
