When my parents were still around, I really loved them and now they were no longer around, their tender loving care fondly cherished in my memory. To me, God is in heaven and present everywhere perpetually, while on earth parents are our temporary life and fond memories as nothing is permanent.

在河南老家我从小吃的都是父母用糯米，红枣，花生做的粽子，然后蘸白糖吃。煮粽子时锅里还会同时煮上大蒜，鸡蛋。虽然长大后咸粽子我也爱吃，但是大多是平时买着吃，端午节时我还是必须得吃甜粽子，只有红枣花生粽子会让联系到儿时的记忆，让我感受到节日的氛围。

端午节要说“安康”，说“快乐"不合适，因为这是个纪念屈原投水自尽的节日。屈原投水后，民众为了避免水里的龙王吃他的躯体，争着划船到河中投放粽子给龙王吃，这样龙王吃饱了就不吃屈原了。之所以是粽子，就是要将米裹起来投喂龙王，最初是没煮过的大米的。后来作为祭品，煮了投一些，自己吃一些，这就是端午吃粽子的来历。端午划龙舟比赛，也是因此而来。所以端午节也叫”龙舟节“，在广东一直保留这样的传统。

甜的可以蘸化开的红糖或者白砂糖，个人比较喜欢蘸蜂蜜吃。美味呀！（糯米营养高，但切忌多吃。肠胃不好的人会不容易消化。）
