This song has been going through my mind all day. Facing some health challenges, every time my mind would drift to the what ifs, my heart would turn to this song. I'd sing and the thoughts would go away !! Thank you Jesus for your love, mercy, grace and for being my refuge and my fortress!!
Omw mine too😂... I. Just had worship earlier on and sang it and decided to listen to the Gaither's singing it 🙌🙌 do not doubt the healing power of Christ my dear.......... I had lots of health issues as well.. enlarged heart, hypertension, suffering so much asthma attacks.... not to mention emotional hurt, degredation .. almost homelessness... I POURED ... myself out before God... I had NOTHING... NO WHERE to go... Nobody would take me in.. I poured my heart out to God DAILY... cried the cry.. the one where the inside of your guts want to come out through your throat... I begged God's forgiveness .. asked Him to PLEASE bless me with roof over my head, a warm place to stay .. with someone who serves Him...If it was His WILL for me that is....I then also asked him to be with my family...to keep them safe and bless them ..draw them closer to Him...touch their hearts...last night I spent in the place I was in I was camped out on the floor...I told God I will.not be able to make it out on the streets I was slow..health issues..etc ...but if it was His will I would accept it...I cried bitter tears that last night before drifting off but let me tell u this...I was also prepared to die that night as I literally felt as if I was going to die ...that, that night was my last here on earth...I cannot describe to u how emptied of self I felt ...but that's exactly what I felt...and this is as the Bible tells us God wants us to do ...to Give our complete selves over to Him...next morning I woke up to find I was still alive ...breathing..I thanked God..and told Him...whatever happens Father ...I leave it in your hands...I made one last call to my cousin told him my plight...who put me in contact with a complete stranger who took me in...I lived with her rent free while I cooked, cleaned praised God with someone who worshipped God exactly as I asked him...she was vegetarian ...this was not something new to me as my mother often cooked vegetarian dishes as well as meat dishes. ..so cooking vegetarian meals was not difficult for me ...but this was in itself different as it was strictly ..I loved it as I would experiment with different dishes ..long story short my dear...God not only healed me completely ...with my 6month doctors check I was both shocked and elated when I was told no indication of an enlarged heart, normal blood pressure...I was so shocked I thought they had made some mistake...doctor confirmed as bp was taken twice by her stethescope as well as machine..both gave exact same reading..my lungs I was told was completely clear..u see this might seem not so strange to some but to me this I believe was MIRACULOUS!!! for yrs I suffered EXTREME high blood pressure doctors was peturbed and often wondered why my BP was CONSTANTLY high...my lungs were always heavy I was.constantly asked do u smoke? ..to which my answer was always no...I gave up smoking 10 yrs ago..i see God's blessings EVERY SINGLE DAY in NOT ONLY my life as today I am living in a beautiful little home...renting...blessings keeps.pouring in...I still do not have a full time job..IM PRAYING AND I KNOW GOD HAS ONE INSTORE.for me as I prayed I want to serve others through my work which is ultimately doing for God....my CV I've written out states there is NO GREATER LOVE THAN TO SERVE...while some may feel it's the lowest CHRIST tells us otherwise...I think the most beautiful of this is...I SEE GOD CHANGING THE LIVES OF MY FAMILY...HE.IS TOUCHING THEM...SOFTENING THEM❤ ..DRAWING THEM TO HIM.....I still have trials...Christ tells us that we will not be without them even if we serve Him...beautiful thing is He is with us EVERY step.of the way...we are NOT ALONE!..NEVER GIVE UP ON GOD my dear...GOD NEVER gives up on us... ..pour out your heart to Him...and be prepared to allow Him to take over...to be in control ....then allow Him to be GOD... 🙏🙌🙌🙌 .

I have been to several Gaither concerts and not once have I been disappointed. Their musicality is seriously second to none. The intonation, the blend, the articulation.... it's ALL there.
I don't believe that I have ever heard this hymn before but I have fallen in love with it. The words are so comforting and the vocals are amazing how they flow and blend together it has drawn me in to sit at Jesus' feet and it's the only place I'd want to be ♥️🦋🌹
