That's impressive! It's cool, I figured it out actually. :O) Thanks though. I can post the chords in case anyone else wants to know: A#maj7, D#maj7, F7, A7 It's a half step up from the prevalently posted joyful girl tabs, but it sounds really nice your way. Thanks!
This is really beautiful. One of my all time favourite songs combined with such a beautiful instrument (your voice and the ukulele.) Thanks so much for sharing.
I absolutely love my uke- it was totally worth the extra dough. I can wail on this thing! When I played it side by side with the cheaper model, the difference in quality was apparent. I say a good instrument is never a bad investment....
man, your vocal technique/timing is just so spot-on. how do you do it? have you ever taken voice lessons? sheet music? just a lot of practice? you're amazing :)!
Not sure if you've already posted this but would you be willing to post the chords you figured out. I'm just learning uke now and LOVE this. Thank you so much!
@elizlaural Great thanks, well, I'm thinking of trying to get my hands on one. I originally had my eyes on one of the lower priced lanikai electrico acoustics because I know a shop where I can get one. Wheresas the curly koa I would have to order off the net. So, your opinion? Is it worth the extra few 100s? Thanks!
Again " Had to hear you play this " Anytime i am feeling out of sorts Your song makes it a good day =) I was wondering if you can play d Angelo " song is called Africa " I know you could just make it magic . You prob get this stuff all the time . I had to ask though ?
It doesn't matter that you're unsigned, Ani wasn't either and made her own label but why aren't you touring? you have a bunch of good cover and perhaps you even have originals and are just afraid to share them? Go for it, I'd pay to listen to you without a hesitation so if you come to Belgium one day...
More than a decade since first hearing this in my dorm room in San Francisco. So beautiful ❤
I still love coming back and watching your covers. I hope where ever you are life is treating you well.
This is still one of my favourite videos on youtube. I simply love it.
This is so beautiful.
Update: 5 years later. Life tried to beat me down but this song just healed my soul.

The tuning is standard, but I figured it out by ear, so I have no idea what the chords are!
wonderful..
Well, I figured it out by ear, so I'm clueless about what the chords are, but the tuning is standard GCEA.
i loved the whole song so cute :)
You are an inspiration. all of your songs are so amazing... do you play live in seattle?

Awesome.
Really really really really beautiful. I've watched this about 30 times so far. Is that a lanikai you have?
Beautiful. Again. As usual.
Obviously you are using some technology, and it really enhances your work. Who does your mixing?
Not sure if you've already posted this but would you be willing to post the chords you figured out. I'm just learning uke now and LOVE this. Thank you so much!
Yeah, live in my bedroom!
I'm playing in a band now, hoping we'll be brave enough to leave the jam box and play some gigs this summer.
How you pace your right hand is admirable (like the other comments). Is there a website with original work?
Sweet.
@elizlaural

It is indeed a Lanikai, a curly koa tenor.
This is great! What chords and tuning are you using?
Wow so you must be in residence now?! I'm entering medschool this year I hope.
I just got into medical school, so it looks like my 'back-up plan' is going to stay on the back burner for a while...
Holy shit this is the first time I’ve seen this comment! I hope it worked out the way you wanted. 🥹
I record into ProTools and then my brother does the mixing. Now I just need a real camera!
too pretty.
Well that settles it,ukuleles are cool now.

Keep us informed. I, for one, will show up.
yep- no lessons, no training, just practice!
