I did the exact same walk years ago in the opposite direction, camped at Corrour Bothy then the Fals of Tarf.

The longer format really works, and could easily of been longer. Beautiful scenery, and good to see more of your personality showing, with many jokes and observations. You deserve a far wider audience.

Did the exact same walk last June and made the same mistake at beginning. Camped at Bynack Lodge ruin and then had a very long day into Aviemore for a 61 year old. Beautiful scenery.

Yeah just got back from the same route yesterday.
      I also camped at Bynack.
      Cracking spot.
That second day was really hard, I ended up camping in a wee spot in the forest about 8km before Aviemore around 10pm 😢
I had stopped of at Corrour Bothy earlier and now realise I should have stopped there for the night and maybe even made it a three and a half day walk.

You're right about the scale in the Cairngorms. Having walked in the Lairig Ghru, Glen Derry, Glen Tilt & Glen Geldie areas, the distances are huge. A lot of the tracks are excellent. That was 2 huge days, great stuff.

That was certainly worth waiting a bit longer to see, and the clarity of your camera is astonishing. I'm really starting to think that you ought to be the next James Bond, as we've already had Sean Connery. Perhaps if you run into a rival TH-camr like Liam Brown, there will be a good fight scene, just to give us a taste of how you'd be on the big screen!

Oh thanks for the reply buddy I look forward to seeing your new video. I have been watching some bothy videos from other channels and watched some about the Grwyne Fawr bothy. I guess it's the U.K.'s smallest bothy. It looks really cool though and has a wood burning stove. The scenery is really nice around it. It has a small upstairs room. One guy said you might be able to fit 7 in it if you know each other well that was funny.

I think you had a bit of everything there, eh? I've only seen Glen Tilt from above - on Carn nan Gabhar, one of the three Munroes in the Beinn a Ghlo range that you mentioned. There's a wee Munro top in addition, actually. Nice new bothy right enough - was that when you met Robin? He said he'd met you just coming from there on his video...! But, to just have a wee slice of your stamina: that would be a fine thing indeed! Keep on walking...
